SKIP is the WORST JUDGE OF TALENT I'V EVER SEEN IN MY "LIFE"....TRUMP SUPPORTER...Just another bumb ASS WHITE REPORTER....ALWAYS JEALOUS OF THE "BLACK" PLAYER💯
as an unbiased, long time nba fan. at the time, for somethings, he actually wasn’t wrong. the cavs where actually favored against that orlando team having won 66 games. their plan was simple, give lebron spacing for the paint and get good defenders and they did. i believe the cavs were also top 5 in defense and offense that year. so having lost to the magic without their starting point guard was still a disappointment i dont care what anyone says. yea the cavs team wasn’t great but they were still good and undoubtedly shoulda faced kobe in the finals since the Celtics were not healthy that year. and yes lebron played pretty well against the magic but if u look back at the games in the 4th for some of the plays lebron just wasn’t that good 🤷🏻♂️. his team also wasn’t good in the 4th either in 2010 while i still dont think they were beating the healthy Celtics squad, lebron shoulda played better. but i think lebron knew he was leaving the second the cavs declined the amare stoudimire trade. yea that cavs team was actually better than 07 but they still failed consistently to get lebron more help. i think what pissed people off is not that lebron left, its how he left kinda the same in 2011. lebron just couldn’t make plays down the stretch. he was awful in the 4th quarter against dallas. looking back skip is definitely a hater, but u cannot deny he was right about some things. i appreciate how lebron has grown tho and i look forward to seeing him play with his son. itll be different when he retires thats for sure
Well skip u not going to learn and win right away brother. You won’t know everything at 18.its a process listen to what doc said. He had to develop his game and IQ. He needed a well built team. That’s why it took long because lebron didn’t have a good supporting cast and organization as well as still needing to learn the game. Only way he can learn is going through adversity
I just I imagine what it’s like… to have the mindset of lbj haters. Even if everyone conceded that he was the 2nd best nba player of all time, how can you hate on him as much as you do?!?!? This guy is debatably the best if not outright 2nd best basketball player to ever have lived and he’s hated on/criticized more/downplayed more than any other player who has and probably ever will exist
I think Skip was, way ahead of the time where it was going to be relevant, already bracing for the Jordan debate. I think Skip just has the personality where one day he decided, "this kid will never be Jordan." Then like Stephen A. said, he fixates on certain things, and the narrative has always been subconsciously coming from that space of, "this kid will never be Jordan." Fast forward to the Undisputed years with Shannon and the debate is now more of a reasonable argument. You can see the full manifestation in those years.
This is so weird to listen to. The subject matter feels like ancient history but the rhetoric feels contemporary. It’s crazy how little Skip Bayless has changed in all this time
I think Douglas beating Tyson was the most shocking unbelievable unpredicted moment in the history of sports. 42/1 underdog Douglas knoking out Iron Mike.. it was simply like a cheetah won against a mighty Lion.. impossible
It’s about time but didn’t Bron & MJ win there 1st championship at the same age… wasn’t Scottie Pippen a top 5 SF all time & top 5 player in the league at that time, & arguably top 5 defender ever ?? & a player who’s top 3 in 3point fg % for a season ??
