I made covers with king size quilted bed spreads. Grommets in the corners and bungee cords hook to army hat connectors installed on camper. Good in cold and hot. Lightweight and easy to clean.
Charlie was awful, Andrew was worse, now I live in the panhandle. Michael crushed my town 162mph. And even now there is no mall, two marinas are still 95% closed. Housing has doubled in price. I think Michael was no. Nine.
I apprecaite this video! Well spoken, great explanations, very thorough. My motto too "My theory, is if another human can do it (within reason of course) so can I, and so can you! " NOTHING TO IT BUT TO DO IT!
We purchased the popup gizmos to protect the vinyl. Then we purchased that reflective insulation stuff and cut it out to zip up in the zippered windows. Works great together!!!!
Thank you for these videos. I bought my trailer last spring and it looked great until we had our first big down pour. I went in a week later to start cleaning it up and realized there was a serious leak and the bed was moldy, soft and very damp. I have watched your videos and am attempting to fix it so me and the kids can make use of it this year without the health hazards of sleeping on top of soggy wet wood! I will show you what it looks like now and also post when I am done 😊 But a huge thank you for showing me how to do it, I was lost at first but now seeing your video I feel confident I can do this.
Man good video, by the way do you have any idea o anybody, where can I get fuel filter, fuel pump estrainer and fuel pump gasket? For my speedster 2002 or any type of parts .tks in advance.
As a former boat rigger, I have to say it had to be one of the cleanest rigged vessels I have come across. Very impressed you have 71 K subscribers btw. Stoneman
I have been thinking about getting a houseboat to travel around Florida on for the longest time and enjoyed your video because you spent so much time going over the boat and the problems it was much appreciated I subscribed and look forward to your future videos and I'm going to go check out the rest of your channel thanks again
I started a company idea called the Houseboat Sharing Club & Investment Group just months prior to Covid. Timing is everything huh? I would recommend renting one first, then sharing the purchase of one. They are a huge money pit from what I can gather so far. Sharing the cost of ownership makes sense.
I am currently doing the same thing to our camper. This has been super helpful. Thank you!You mentioned that you saw a video about how to take the bed apart. Could you please drop a link to that video?
Depending on where you live. Nowhere is completely safe but northern Sebring (Sun N Lakes area) isn't too bad but south Sebring you wanna be mindful of. I just moved from there in February and I had people constantly breaking into the shed/garage in my backyard and drug addicts were busted by the police for doing things like fentanyl and meth in my shed/garage also just a couple months after the other people were breaking in. I never used it or kept anything in it but I lived a block over from the police station yet it never deterred people. I also lived across the street from a law firm and one night, might've been two nights in a row, someone broke in. There's also not anything to do other than a couple parks by the lakes if you're a parent or younger. There was a shooting also in downtown Sebring at/around the circle in 2016/2017 and a bank shooting a few years back. So me personally I'd never move back there. And the housing isn't any cheaper. Hopefully this helps, not trying to deter anyone from moving there but I lived there for almost 8 years so I know very well what it's like.
Thank you for the video!! I am going to attend to fix my board! However I am in New England area, what other material do you recommend instead of metal?
It’s pretty scary to know that 40 plus years ago, those things were way inland at time of completion. Time and tide certainly was not kind. Think the water depth in which they collapsed is roughly 12 or more feet. Nature will turn the remnants to reefs eventually if not started already.
Hi Wendy! There are two other videos regarding this build-out. All the way to skinning the final step with aluminium sheet. Remember, if you go with aluminium, it really depends on the climate you take your camper to. We are in Florida, so it works well being in wet/hot temperatures all the time. We found that on nights that reach 32 degrees, you will definitely need mattress barriers/spacers. From here you can opt to place luan board or even thin PVC bathroom wall board. I designed ours so it would never have to be rebuilt ever again. Here is the link to step two: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0sC9WK3b0gQ.html
Our trailer is slightly different and we so not have the support on the tongue like you do, but instead is supported by diagonal wires from the top. We need to fix the bunk love your option however I am curious about support where you have the pink insulation what is preventing you from putting your putting you knee through the aluminum?
Wow, so much incorrect info. The ski pole loosens tightens to slide it up/down. The trunk pins are there to remove hatch without removing bolts. Theres two hall effect sensors for tight steering left right to make up for the bog/wash and speeds up rpms 10-20%.
Good Video! For the engine hatch, we replaced the hood shocks.. can now open the hatch alone. In your Drivers compartment is the fuse block The ECU is on the front of the engine facing the seats Have had no issues with the Merc 246hp V6 Optimax 2 Cycle and we hit 50+ on gps in our 2000 Speedster. Oil injection pump still works fine. Did have a reverse cable fail and backed about a mile.. back to the dock LOL! So now we carry a bungie cord with us to hold up the reverse-gate if it happens again on 20 years
I just feel the V6 is so much more reliable than any of the turbo units out there. At least that is what I see in our region. Plus, I think if you maintain just about anything, avoid redlining for too long, and just simply avoid plain old dog'in something out, things should last a long time. After all, last I checked, it is more fun to be out on the water rather than hauling a dead boat to the shop with a blown motor.
@@StoneSolidProductions I can imagine! A lot of years worth of memories to pack into a few boxes, and it’s going well one week left before the new adventure begins!
Yeah, those old hats stay with you, plus, having the hole in the top, lets the heat out here in Florida. Cause man, its unaturally hot anymore these days. Its like living in a microwave.
I love honest down to earth people !!! Real !! Like looking in the mirror . I raced cars . I lost and learned to win . I always enjoyed it . I was a constant fiddler, fixer, tamperer! This is a soulmate. Thanks so much .
I am 52 now and bought those things when I was 5'ish - 10'ish while traveling in a '72 Winnebago Brave. I placed them on a double laminate sheet so I can take them with me when C-Heep Jerokee runs away or finds a new home. Thanks for the comment, it lets us know what to focus on with the page. We are getting ready to build a home and time-lapse the whole build from the time we break ground until the day we move in. StoneMan @ StoneSolid Productions
You stopped to take pictures of my old truck a week ago or so. Can you please come back bye the house need to ask you a few questions about. The help we talked about in avon park. Thanks A crazy old pickup collector lol. Hope to see and the wife.
Hey Media 8, Pastor Breylinger's Church @ Union Congregational, located at 106 N. Butler Avenue, you would have to call them to find out what days they are in operation. There is also another place behind Pure Grit on Main St. that offers the same service, again not certain which day they are in operation. Be Sound.
Wr have so much content to edit and load on the channel, we are months behind and still have a cool little message video planned for your three old Chevy/GMC Trucks.
John, we just deal with them. It was funny to see the two different species together. Most don't know or understand the symbiotic relations in the animal kingdom. I know one thing is for certain, they don't litter or decimate an area for themselves to live in like humans do. StoneMan @ StoneSolid Productions
Yep! We’ve cleaned the area four times already and it somehow manages to get right back to this. Luckily our students have been likeminded and environmentally conscious so far! The O-ring thing is something we do at the end of each day.. everyone pick up at least 4 O-rings, then we inspect them and attempt to determine why they needed changed. We’ve even seen people bring car trash out to the lake cans! 🤯
Good seeing you today at the redlight R. Had a somewhat weird encounter with one cool instructor and one, not so cool instructor. She got it, he did not, and they were together. I was amazed. We are introducing another problem no one is talking about. Seeing a ton of blue painter's tape in the water and on the beach and all over the parking lot. Yes, it's to measure the remaining tank air. The thing is, the same Sharpie they are writing on the painter's tape with, can be erased with a dry-erase marker from their tanks. Let's set up a time to do an educational video on how to mark and unmark your tank. And yes, someone is dumping household-bagged garbage as well. StoneMan @ StoneSolid Productions
That's the thing Pawpaw, we don't have to wait to get to heaven to realize we are all the same. We all want to be loved. We complicate things. No need for that. Be Sound Pawpaw. GO LIVE! StoneMan @ StoneSolid Productions
Thank you for the video. I just completed the bed rebuild on my hybrid trailer using your instructions. Turned out great. The hardest part was definitely pulling out the old material, but overall it wasn't too difficult. Thanks again!
Watch your cold winter climates. Works great in hot weather. In Florida, so we only get about 1-2 really cold days a year. We also used Froli STAR Bed kits. The Queen size set retails for $398.00. They insulate your mattress by raising it up about an inch off any surface by letting air flow between your mattress and the surface. They work great. We have a set of the Frolis we no longer use, if interested let us know. StoneMan @ StoneSolid Productions 6/2023
Thanks, Spookie ookie! Been driving this message home to folks now for over 25 years. Now it is your burden to carry, educate, spread, and share. GO LIVE! StoneMan @ StoneSolid Productions
