Like everyone else: The video would have been more helpful if you had shown us how to install the new gearwheel and show us how the blender is now working after the wheel has been replaced
A new cavity?! What? I repaired my old microwave by taking out the cavity, filing out the rust hole and using multi folded aluminum foil molded into the sanded out smooth rust free hole and taped it into place from behind. Then I smoothed out the inside a little and repainted the cavity with microwave cavity paint. Had two holes in the circle I repaired three or four years ago. Still use the microwave in the garage for food when its late at night.
VERY NICE!! THIS IS EXACTLY what's wrong with my model, Gourmia GAF826 Air Fryer that I picked up from costco.. There's a loose connection in mine, and it started by not turning off when I would pull the basket out. And then one day it just wont turn on at all. I knew it's a switch related issue and not the thermal fuse. It would click on for a half second if I slammed the basket in- telling me it;s a bad connection. My question is WHERE DO YOU GET THIS SWITCH??? Can please tell me where I would find this, or what this part number is?? Thanks for you help
thanks for sharing, however, you did not have to remove the fan blade, just use some gloves or a wash rag to hold the fan, while you use the plier to remove the drive stud. could have saved you a few minutes. Took me about 5 minutes to replace mine
OMG I was looking for a video with an oscilloscope and recommendation for what RESISTOR to use... not some pliers and a darwin award candidate video D: thanks a lot to the ones upvoting the comments warning about this
Thank you so much. I know the fuse blew in my 30 year old Sharp Carousel and was told it couldn´t be fixed so I bought a new small microwave and I do not like it. After seeing this video I will buy my own fuse (s) and see if that's all it needs, if it still doesn´t work I will buy a new capacitor and hope that will work. No other microwave can beat my Carousel 11.
My sharp microwave works but is leaking dielectric oil from the capacitor. It is strange that No One mentions this as a problem or possible failure. Some people even swear up and down that there is no oil in these HV capacitors. They are all filled with oil. ( non hazardous but yes oil).
