Didn't love it, vocals sound burried then really loud, drums are too loud bass is too loud in spots, keep in mind when they originally mastered that album it was EQ'd to showcase the guitar, the bass tone wasn't great because it was mixed to fill out a certain space in yhe mix same with the kick drum so boosting them and re Equing them just for the sake of them being louder sounds like an inconsistent mess... The 2015 version gave the intended mix more clarity, this for all its new fidelity is a bit of if a mess.

I remember when I first bought this album when it first came out. I remember feeling this surge of disappointment that this week slow plotting poor excuse for a heavy metal song was the first song on the album. I became increasingly disappointed knowing this song existed at all.
It’s interesting you say that. I’m a die hard VH fan, and this song has always been a meh one for me. It has the most boring “solo” of all the songs, and a slide whistle lol. So it’s funny that they released it as the first original tune single. I believe You Really Got Me was the first single.
