I just replaced my headlight with the same one you did (blue front circle) and the low beams are excellent but the high points at the tree tops. I guess I need to try and adjust it. I have some LED turn signals that just arrived and some smoked lenses on the way. 2007 VTX 1300
The rears are actually 1156 single contact, as they only light up when you hit the breaks. I'm doing the same but using a switchback bulb for the front signals as they are dual contact bulbs and are White until you turn on the signal. Nice bike!
Where did you order your pipes from I still have the stock ones on mine and they're super quiet looking for a good set of ants and Hines love the videos I'm 26 years old you've helped me put my bike back together I appreciate it
I did a video on hyper flash after installing LED lights on my VTX1300. I ran the LEDs in the rear for a short while, but my riding companions complained that the turn signals were hard to see, so I swapped the rear ones back to incandescent bulbs.
This is way cheaper than the VTX Daymaker and worth trying out first! Thanks for the video and the links to the parts. Looking forward to more VTX content. Have you done the seat pin mod? that's a quick one too!
You're welcome! Definitely cheaper and easier to do and it looks great. I get a lot of compliments. I don't believe I have heard about that mod. Going to look into now. Thanks
Yes it's much cheaper than the overrated DayMaker bulb and much easier to change also. I run an Auxbeam bulb in mine and it matches the light output of the DayMaker and has a good light pattern. And it does NOT have a fan, which are annoying, take up too much room in the headlight and interfere with my radio signal, so it's a plus. I've run them on several bikes and never had one fail yet.
