yours is so pretty 😻😻 i’m so happy I could finally buy mine! it’s been a dream for ages. sure it’ll last a long time. how’s your Kipling condition nowadays?
Super late to the party but I saw someone else say that he breaks the fourth wall at the end to make the audience feel guilty. His whole life is on display and when he looks at the camera at the end he is calling all of us out because we watched him in his darkest and happiest moments. We watched him grieve, have sex etc. After they made that connection I can't help but feel guilty watching back certain scenes
when u were talking about how u initially thought august would be a good character and stick up for wilhelm etc, i was thinking when i was watching it for the first time i don’t think i ever thought that. Every single little thing he did just seemed to be snarky and horrible to me, like the way he would talk to anyone, his body language and just his facial expressions made me feel a bit disgusted watching him. Malte did such an amazing job lmao
jessie i watched a video from another girl where she talks about the breaking of the fourth wall SO brilliantly!!! it made PERFECT sense in my head. it was basically this: first break of the fourth wall really surprises us right? and make us feel uncomfortable for some reason. the reason: we dont like to feel like we are being watched. hold on this. then the second break of the forth wall happens in the very last moment, after we’ve seen EVERYTHING. we saw wilhelm falling in love, losing his brother, having his most private moment with simon shared on the internet, losing everyone he loves, and everything else. we watched his every single step. so when he look at us at the end, we feel uncomfortable again, and this time we might even feel GUILTY, because we were watching him all this time. i dont know if that analysis is what lisa, erika and rojda had in mind, but it did make a lot of sense to me. ill drop the link of the video below if i find it ;)
No cus it was written so beautifully, and edvin did absolutely amazing I felt everything his character felt and no matter how much I watch it I still feel the same emotions and that say so much on how talented everyone evolved with this show is
