Congratulations! Well deserved. I love seeing health workers who have heart for the field. A lot of gremlins running around the floor. Be the difference and inspiration to all.
Any anesthesia text book would be helpful to peruse before school. I bought Morgan and Mikhail and spent some time looking at that before I started. But Miller or Stoelting are resources used for board questions so those might be even better options.
I'm currently in nursing school and considering CRNA as my specialty as I continue my education. I'm so glad my algorithm brought me to your channel! Thank you for sharing☺
I worked in a few care areas as an RN including a little time in the OR. Based on my experience, in general, ICU nurses lack emotional awareness. Very few people met me where I was during my education process. I had higher expectations.
Thanks for sharing! My goal is to be a CRNA so it’s refreshing to know that I have the chance to go right into ICU after graduating. I’ve been a critical care (and multi specialty) coder and auditor for 15 years so after reading through so many charts Im fully aware how high stress that dept can be so Throw me to the wolves- I’m ready 😅
at what point in crna school are you completely "on your own"? I want to do this but I'm nervous about the timeline and ending school still "not ready"
I start my icu job next month. I been a nurse a year on a tele unit. The first time I had a patient die I literally broke down because i had him 2 days prior and he was up walking around and doing okay. So when he died during my shift i was in shock. I remember everything
Hi, I got a question about the CRNA school, I'm considering getting an ADN at a community college and doing an RN to BSN program online, would that decrease my chance of getting in compared to the regular BSN program?
Why do i keep hearing that there are so many assholes in crna programs? Do these people not know how to be decent human beings? How can they go into a field where their job is to care for others and then be so cold?
Hey, I work at that hospital!! Which school do you go to if you don’t mind me asking so I know which school to sign up for first when I go to CRNA school.
I’m a paramedic and I’m thinking about doing the medic to RN bridge. And honestly ultimately CRNA. I can do things like intubation, and use some analgesics as well. Super excited!
Congratulation! 🎉I’ve been following you since you started school and I can’t believe it’s now over and done! Sad to hear this will be your last vlog but thank you for sharing!
I am crying with you when you found out you passed! I'm so happy for you. I am in my first year and I have been following you since your first year. You are inspiring and you should be celebrating so hard! You did it! Congratulations and thank you for the motivation!
