Is it possible to do an unstretched version? I can’t get this to show the right shape. I might have been there! I remember Uncle Bertie mostly for his enormous model railway at the Winter Gardens c1966. But please let’s see this slice of history the right shape!
my gramps used to say "choc ice and chips" to us, finally decided to look up what it meant after he's passed now. Don't know what I expected but this is pretty on par for his humour lol
My old mate Dave Brecknall was a fully paid up member of the old London bike club, the “67” club. Sadly passed away, but full of stories of the ace cafe
Ah, the most infamous Avengers episode of all. This features the rarely viewed full-length whip scene. Cartney is quite the sadist here. In most episodes available today, the lashes are cut down to just two, including the fatal one where he pulls the torch. Quick thinking by our Mrs. Peel.
hi there, went to school there in 1964 Carlisle Rd, Southdown buses ruled the area and the Royal Sovereighn light ship could be heard in foggy weather. Bobbys was a great dept store.
What was the Seaside one? The Picturedrome? I saw Lawrence of Arabia there as a rerelease so 1964 or 5. I can’t think of a sixth. Rather long film for a ten year old.
Tivoli, Manhattan (Seaside Rd), ABC, Curzon, Elysium (Seaside). There used to be one in Old Town where the Star brewery was but it closed around 1940 but the building was there into the 1960s. The Regal was in Seaside and is still standing. The Classic in Trinity Place where the car park is now, closed in 1965
