I watched soooo many haircutting videos and was ready to pull the trigger, but thank goodness I decided to watch just one more. After I watched the video I just honestly liked Erikamari so much that I decided to follow her technique and all I can say is AMAZING. I was definitely nervous but I did exactly what she said and my hair looks incredible! I also just love her warmth and positivity. Game changer!!
Is there a way to remove that extreme V shape? Maybe trying to reach a more U shape? And how would it translate to the layers? Would I have to shape them for a more U shape as well or would it be ok to leave them with the V shape the ponytail gives them?
That is exactly what I want, the other way; doing it the butterfly way, I find my fringe (bands) are way too heavy, (since I have thick hair) and this is perfect for me. A much more transitional look down the sides.
You have dark hair and with the black shirt you really can’t see the layers well. Can you repost a follow up photo or video with your hair standing out against a light colored shirt to see the effect better?
Thank you so much for this video! I've been contemplating cutting my own hair and I watched a few videos. I tried it today by cutting the face framing layers using another video but I totally messed it up. But then I watched your video...not only was your technique able to help me fix the mistake, but I also got the rest of my hair to look fab! Easy layers and easier than the other video I watched.
I just want to thank you for your video. I came across it from Amazon while searching for new clippers...it was included with vids about product. The model you used is different from the one I was looking to purchase (Remington Hc6550 Cordless Vacuum Haircut Kit), but...Wow! Your video was the most realistic and informative of any! It's so cool that you shared that! I actually watched it all...and you did a great job! Who would have thought that while shopping for clippers you'd meet such unique, interesting, and honest people? I hope the best for you guys!
I return to this video EVERY TIME I cut my hair. I haven't been back to the salon since finding it a few years ago. So thanks for the teachings and the great hair!! 👍
I was browsing for self hair cut , & I found yours… give it a try … & the result is the best!!! Cutting own hair has never been this easy! Thanks a lot ❤️
Hi there 😊 you are doing great! I'm a retired hairstylist, I don't do hair anymore except my husband & usually it's just a buzz all over. People's hair grows different ways. So that trouble you were having on that side of your husband head probably grows 🤔 opposite of the other side. I know my husband has the same thing, also a cow luck on top. I always have to cut it alittle shorter there to make it even. But you're doing great. I love how you joke around it's 🙃 so cute! Oh "Congratulations on your baby"!♥️ 🎉🧸👶🥳
