I’ve only been playing from home and work. Mainly catching drilbur for xls. One research completed and zero eggs hatched 😂 I did catch 2 shiny drilbur though.
Congrats on the clincher sparkles mate. Still hunting my second one for the family. I think the event is pretty boring but not too bad. there is nothing especially good but for me it's time to grind for drillbur candy and shines and bag some catches. A chilled time but really sad that they nerved adventure week that much that is a better event free time ... great video mate, love your hones opinion on each one of those events.
Did about 45 Mega-Raids with NO shiny - so no shiny boost for me - and besides 1 98 and 2 96 all with bad IVs, but managed to grab a great amount of candy XL and rare candy XL. So I still call the event a success. Great video mate and congrats to the sparkles.
If you purify this it would actually be a beast in Master League since purified is stronger in pvp but I can see why people would wanna keep it in shadow form considering we can only have one.
I did! Shiny Jangmo-o after first raid. I got Shiny Guzzlord from research, shiny Buzzwole after raid 4, shiny Necrozma (1st raid) and then got 3 shiny Necrozma, and shiny Celesteela after 6th raid! I still need Xuritree, Pheromosa, and Kartana. I did 40 Kartana and gave up 😅 I got 54 shinies during Go Fest! Enjoy your vids.
To get Amaura to spawn I use Necrozma Dawn Wings effect. Works great! Also I got three shinies from it! Shiny Gligar, Alolan Marowak and shiny Rockruff!
I did 4 remote raids and 15 with local player in a park. 2 shinies and two 96%. Only 1 ran away, although several in the last balls. I was mostly after candy for a 100% I caught at Go Fest 2023. I just couldn’t buy a lot of remote raid passes. I did lose 1 remote pass because the other players left after 30 seconds.
I just remoted 2 raids coz they are expensive & wanted to complete the research. No shiny but I already have a hundo so not fussed. Plus a bunch of shinies.
I'm glad this adventure week is bad coz I have a toe infection & it's incredibly painful to walk. Managed to see a doctor on a Saturday so while I was out going to the doctor's & picking up my prescription & going shopping I got loads of shinies 😂 got shiny Dribur (finally) shiny Kabuto, shiny Bunnelby, shiny Shieldon from a task & shiny Aerodactyl.
I was so excited for this years adventure week as last years was amazing with all the wild spawns. What a massive disappointment it has been, no incentive to go and explore just to hatch 1 egg every 7km with no cool wild spawns along the way.
This was so much better than those stupid Elite Raids. ps would be up for Moltres Raid Hour. Need some more XL candy for that shundo chicken. BananaMTG 384910376304
Will mega rayqaza ever be back? Bc when it was just the rayqaza I got a shundo and I want mega evolve it and idk if there is even someone with w a shundo rayqaza

Since lucario im 0 for 80 remote raid shinies....the rates have never been this bad. Idk what niantics done but this is ridiculous. 1 shiny rayquaza but you could only do 8 raids per hour instead of the usual 12 because niantic wasted our time by making them respawn instead of leaving them alone...it only helped those with fewer gyms. Its better than an elite raid but worse than the usual raid day set up.
I feel like people worry about the ivs too much for really strong pokemon like Rayquaza. It feels good to get one but the difference between a 10 in the attack stat and a 15 in the attack stat is mathematically negligent because its a 1.75% difference in dps
No one really cares about that. It's just very satisfying to catch a hundo and you can show it off to your friends. It's not different from catching shinies. Some people love collecting shinies and some people love collecting hundos. No one goes on their bed at night thinking "man if only I got have the IVs I wanted I would have done 3.5% more damage". If you're happy with what you have that's good but let people play how they want to play.
@@ChrisM-qo1jc A lot of RU-vidrs tell you to "not level up the pokemon unless it's at least a 96" or some other bs statement. That was not the case in this video but a lot of people believe they really matter when it comes to the pokemons strength. I agree with you that the point is to feel good about it and to show off to your friends, but a lot of people don't know that is the only benefit. The point of my comment was not to take away anyone's experience but to educate about the pitfalls a lot of RU-vidrs get players into
Great video Milo! Had a ball with this raid event. I got 2 shinies and a hundo in around 20 raids, and I finally maxed my first hundo from 2019. I personally would've preferred a standard raid day, it would've made this guy more accessible to people with the additional free raid passes, not to mention the boosted shiny rates. They did it with the Primals, why not Ray? But this is still leagues better than the failed elite raid day back in June, so we take it.
If they didn't respawn halfway through I'd agree. You could actually do less if you had several nearby with this setup. I usually can do 12 in an hour but only 8 today because of the forced respawns
