It also does not have the ability to read AC and DC at the same time, which for me is a highly desired feature, I can name zero benefits from having to select AC or DC, but I can name at least 2 benefits from having the feature, 1. No mistakes when reading voltage, if it's DC or AC it will give you the value and tell you in text what you've got it eliminates the possibility of forgetting switching between voltages, 2 it saves time, you can focus on your work and not need to worry about which voltage you are set to detect, you can just get to work Not a single reason for All the high end meters to not include this feature on every meter now.
I know of multimeters with that feature. But as of yet, I don’t know of any clamp meters. Except maybe the HIOKI brand. I’m just speculating, but they’re known for releasing that type of instrument.
Unless you just had your meter calibrated some meters do that. Because of EMF in the atmosphere. All I have to do is press the zero/ REL button and it’ll zero out.
I have 2. One i keep my hair clippers and accessories in and in the other i keep all the bits and accessories for my multitool. Honestly its too small for almost anything. No lock or handle so not easy to just pick up and move. But looks nice
Yeah slide that Klein to the side, and HIGHLIGHT the IDEAL. Now if they would have made this IDEAL with the tight sight screen on the bottom it would be one heck of a deal for such a good quality product. I’m trying to get the IDEAL ordered but Lowe’s is currently out of stock. And I’ll probably just “lose” my Klein.
The Klein volt/con tester is GARBAGE compared to the IDEAL. I have the Klein, and the leads just slip out during use, the leads stay put on the ideal. I can’t believe Klein released this tester with sub-par leads. There is nothing worse than trying to position yourself for a reading only to find out the leads have worked their way out.
I started around the same time you did...used klein religiously for 30 yrs and then I discovered knipex. Now, my tool pouch is a mix of awesome tools from multiple brands which makes being an electrician a little more fun again.
Some old, this vid, but maybe you´re still ,,on air"... hi there, today I had the problem again - measure the winding resistance ( not PE ) of an 230V electric waterpump with float switch. The great (?) HT M70 show up with 115 ohm ( switched to ohm with sound ), a ,,usual" Bennings multimeter count 1.35 kOhm. Who is right, the M70 or the Bennings ?
A multimeter can't compare with a insulation tester/ megaohmmeter. If you are performing the test using the insulation feature of the M70. Check out my youtube SHORTS.
Hi...i need help with fluke 1520....i search on all internet photos of pcb with two smd element but i cant find. Any help? Need info near battery connector under capacitor (tantal)smd and resistor 39r2. Transistor or diode smd 3 pins....and value resistor 1002? 10k?
You could download a copy of the operators manual and it'll explain in very simple terms how to use this instrument. Google the model number from the video and read the manual it teach you who to use the tester.
I don't know, try replacing the batteries with some fresh brand-new batteries and see what happens. If that don't work, you may issues internally with the sound component.
Some high quality, high dollar test are calibrated and their sensitivity so on point that it reacts to the electrostatic in the air. All in all I'm highly impressed with this multimeter. I have a few multimeter that I'm considering getting rid of to make room for this one. You should visit my youtube channel I made an introduction video with this meter yesterday with more to follow.
