i just found one yesterday that looks like a few days from the first baby flying off....should i release it? there are cats and dogs roaming around here so im a bit scared for it. it seems pretty comfortable around me even though its only been a day. obv i dont want to keep it away from momma bird but the cats around here are feral
Well.. they belong to the nature...bird parents surely around from a distance watchin the babies.. they can survive in nature. put it somewhere high up will do good to them. dont let the cats see what you doing.

As far as I know you have to print it right away if your computer is connected to printer. Or you can Print Screen "PrtSc" the receipt and save as BMP file or JPEG. Or save it as pdf file if you know how to do it. Sometimes LHDNM receipt doesn't come out for printing. So our bank payment receipt is also important to keep for future reference.

Seeding will rot if they are constantly in wet condition, must dry within 2 hours. This rule applies to all tillandsia air plants. Another way is that some will use LED growing light with a timer switch to turn on and off the lights for 8 to 12 hours daily and auto watering with a timer switch too. This method will make our live much easier.

Scary!!!, I had mine stuck above a water tank at 100 ft high and no way to go up there to pick it up. Had to hire some high rise building window cleaners crew to recover it for me.

Hi there, usually takes 2 to 3 months to be able to check the centre of plant to find out whether or not it is successfully pollinated. You can stuck your finger to feel the pointed tip (or something solid) of seed pod if successful which i considered the earliest sign. Otherwise got to wait 6 or more months for it to be visible. This was wonderful video I have ever seen about growing tillandsias from seeds.. only sad thing to know is there were only 3 seedlings left after years of care.
