I was born after the revolution and I don't know much about the revolution or how they purged minorities but I do know that it wasn't limited to Jews. My parents told us that anyone who was an opposition to Islamic Republic be it a Muslim MEK member, a leftist or a nationalistic would be hanged. I'm sure you know that there were thousands if not tens of thousand of MEK members who were killed in 1989 and Iranian people did not stand up for any of them; Not that they didn't want it because they were afraid for their lives and lives of their loved ones. It takes someone like Mandela or Gandhi to stand up for other people when their own lives is in danger. I love you as a human being and I love that you are a smart, accomplished woman who is empathetic towards other human beings.
