Well,The way you advise against using charcoal and talk about the dangers of it while at the same time seeing charcoal in your teeth makes it hard for me to be afraid of it
You're such a delightful person and a dedicated doctor, you are truly an inspiration Dr Emovon on RU-vid, I'm finally free from bad breath and acid reflux stay blessed sir..🌺🌺👏
So I just got invisalign 3 days ago. Here are my first impressions: 1. The pressure on my teeth is not nearly as strong as I thought it would be. I’ve had friends that almost want to cry after getting a new adjustment on their braces. At times I ask myself if they are really working, but people say they work even if they feel like they aren’t, so great! 2. You can eat and drink anything you want as long as you remove them, BUT, and it’s a big but, I still find these have changed my eating habits. The thing is, you will snack less. Much less. My ortho referred to it as the “invisalign diet”. The aligners come off easy, taking them off takes about a minute, same for putting them on… but you still have to go to a bathroom/restroom and take them off. It may sound lazy but this is something that you will not want to be doing all the time you want to eat something, so I am definitely eating less often, and when I do eat I try to cram as much food as possible into that meal to avoid getting hungry again soon and having to take them off and put them back on again. Some people may want to eat less often and I guess this would help them. This is not my case. I’m also wondering how it will be when I go out for drinks etc. 3. These aren’t just set and forget, they will be a very constant, very present thing in your life. At least 3 days in they definitely are for me, maybe I will get more used to it later on, but between taking them off and putting them on 3+ times a day (once for each meal and any time you snack) you will never “forget” you are wearing them. If you have to wear elastics like me, taking off and putting the elastics on is an extra step you will have to do 3+ times a day. 4. Speaking of elastics… while these are less noticeable than metal braces, I find myself thinking that they actually wouldn’t have been that much different from white ceramic braces. I didn’t know I was going to have to wear elastics. I don’t know if this is for the whole treatment or part of it, but I think it may be for all of it. The elastics are visible when I smile, which I wasn’t expecting and it’s a bit of a bummer. So just keep in mind that depending on your case you might have elastics showing when you smile. Not only that, because of the elastics, my upper trays have two hooks on them that were cutting my inner upper lip, so I had to buy some dental wax to put on the hooks. This makes my upper lips feel a bit fuller than before. To summarize, while I don’t regret my decision, I wish I coukd have seen how ceramic braces would have looked on me before going with invisalign.
I left the initial gaze in for way too long, and I believe that’s what prevented the clot. Severe pain hasn’t started yet. The dentist is closed until Tuesday. So I have to wait.
Do I just have a high ass pain tolerance, I was prescribed tramadol, a class 3 drug. Even had my license copied at the pharmacy. And haven’t had any pain yet at all and it’s day two fingers crossed we stay good!!!
Well I was worse than him. Firstly for me as everyone is different to some degree as to how and why but mine started with having 10 wisdom teeth. Yes that is what I said. They crushed a bunch of my side teeth in my early 20’s. Then over the next 20 yrs in between with fractured teeth I didn’t have the best habits that just rotted them and on top of that sensitivity that made me not want to brush them or clean as often as you need to. Just a horrible thing to be trapped in. So there’s my explanation
I took care of my mom as a child because she couldn't take care of herself, and my teeth suffered badly as a result. It's been about 15 years now since she passed away, and I would only take care of my teeth very seldomly (mainly because I only took care of myself as a kid and didn't really think much of it). Well now I am in my 30's, with no dental insurance, and a cavity that has eaten away half of my front tooth and the one next to it. I am a stay at home dad because I am afraid to even look for a job knowing I would have to talk to someone, even if just for an interview. Now I take care of them everyday....but it's a little too late now that the damage has already been done. I don't know what to do, where to go, what my options are, etc. I could really use some help. It's gotten to a point where I almost feel like my life is over already....and it really sucks! I don't like to beg for help, but at this point I really am desperate to get them fixed.
Thank you for this video. I went to the dentist the other day and the dr said that the cavity is not small but its not large either and he said my bones, gums and enamels healthy. but he warned me not to wait too long before coming back to get a filling which im trying to avoid..... How do i know if my cavity is getting better? Im just afraid that that the tooth underneath is getting worst and i'll have no idea till it gets bad. Ive been in the process of remineralizing 3-4 times a day faithfully with xylitol, bentonite clay, Himalayan salt, chlorophyll, and various herbs that I've been brushing and oil pulling with. Its been now 3 days ( i know its not much time) but what are some signs in the tooth that ill see? as of now i dont see any change with the black lines. Thank you
They usually say that if your cavity well rather the tooth with the cavity is not sensitive or has no pain, it has not reached the dentin or hit a nerve. I am not a professional by the way but I suggest doing your research. Hope that helps. I have cavities as well and I have found an abundance of information. I have been oil pulling for about 3 weeks and I am seeing massive results. Now I am looking into remineralising my teeth as well.
@@Nativecurls thanks for your response. i did get a xray done. unfortunately im in a foreign country and due to language barrier i couldn't get all my questions answered. but he said my gums, enamel, and bones look healthy but i cant be sure if he was referring that to the tooth with the cavity as well. but i also have no pain, i didnt know i had a cavity till he told me
