This boss basically just one shot kills you regardless of what you try. spawns poison waves on top of you. hard targets you with no option of avoiding anything outside of using cooldowns, everything does ten billion damage. and thats on the introductory quest using NPC followers. This fight is very very very very very poorly communicated in game with no tells on what to do, where to go, why you're doing it or if it's even working.. You start the fight and get smashed like a mosquito instantly.
I'm not familiar with the introductory quest you are referencing, I'm assuming it's in the Arathi questline. Do you know any more specifics? I'll look into it and see if I can help :)
You may be talking about the dungeon Dawnbreaker, which does have a couple different mechanics, the biggest struggle with that boss are the barrels on the ship, make sure to pick them up and toss them onto the boss. If the barrels detonate, you'll get a big stacking DoT which will absolutely kill your group
Another great video! On a related topic, does anyone know the raid layout yet i.e. what options you have in terms of paths through the raid/boss order?
The raid is pretty straightforward in terms of order, the first time you get an option is at Broodtwister and Ky'Veza, either way you have to beat them both to get to the Silken Court. Personally I prefer there to be some more options in case your group is struggling on an encounter, but time will tell!
These new potions are pretty sweet hahaha the healing isn't a ton, but it is a cool idea and they share cd with healing potion so you don't lose damage. Just like if you got one shot or missed the health pot.
@@Chikinbatto I mean to respond to this earlier but it was out of sight out of mind, shiney objects and all. Thank you very much, I remember you from the Shadowlands days. Hope you and your guild are doing well!
@@skeletonetiquette I completely understand, and appreciate it so much! Senpai noticed/membered me!!! Your videos really did help me so much in Shadowlands, so having you back makes me a lot less afraid of hopping into raid. Have you ever thought of maybe doing dungeon guides? Like even if it's just bosses / maybe important adds to look out for?
good video but a little criticism: when youre making a video stressing the timing of certain spells to the point where even you missed, don't slow down your video at this same time. it doesnt let us know how long in real time you waited before dropping or casting said spell.
@@skeletonetiquette Just got it yesterday! The Twins was my 6/7 challenge, and then I did Xylem on an Arms warrior, which uh... don't tell anyone but it was a fraction of this one's difficulty lol But it probably was only considerably easier because I followed the gearing principle from your video, with SoO gear and etc
@@ratbox_ Well done! I still need the Guardian druid and then I'll be done, just gotta get back in there, haven't even put many attempts on Guardian tbh
Bro finally a guide that helped me beat this challenge. Thank you so much I had 160+ attempts before… after watching your video I beat it on my 5th try. Thank you so much!!!!!
What would you say is your struggle point? Is it a specific mechanic that's catching you or do you feel damage is an issue? Is it something new each time?
@@skeletonetiquette it's always the hands, i keep getting stuck at the third hand, then i die. Or i manage to kill the hand the rage bro is running at me full speed
They may have nerfed some specific items, but I just went in right now with items I recommended and they have not changed. Gems still work the same and all my lvl 50 gear stays the same. At this point I'm going to say all my information in the video is accurate. Best of luck! :D
Its 2:45 am , my eyes are bloody , don't feel my fingers, brain is mashpotatoe. I attempted Mage Tower from 10:00 am today until now. Failed 220+ times , lowest I got on the bosses was 34%. I invested all my gold in one day to buy consumables , to buy the "gear" to "gem and enchant it" the right way. I am down so much I can't even describe how much I hate myself.....BUT...but I decided to go on youtube and search for help AND here I am. Will have to farm up the gear and gold but will do literally what you did and said in your video and let you know how it worked out. I am feeling good vibes from your tutorial and you lift me up not to give up. Thank you for the guide and amazing editing of this video , comrade. Lightbreed , Ravencrest (EU) subbed
Yes that is correct, even after it was nerfed it is still considerably stronger because of the healing, which allows more holy power to be spent on damage. Best of luck out there Comrade!
@@skeletonetiquette one last question please What is the best weapon to put the enchant on now that i have no herloom SOO weapon Buy a grean weapon with an ilevel 50 and mastery/versa stats and use that ? Thank you for your time
@@ahmedbinshams488 Since weapons aren't possible to loot from Legion dungeons your best bet is acquiring a weapon from SoO even if it's not the heirloom, you can buy a green of course, it may be worth checking the Underjournal, it is a site that will track items being sold with additional stats, leech would be the most beneficial. Socketed is even better. Happy to help! let me know if I can do anything else for you
Love your style, keep it up! I just got the spell tome and didn't end up doing any priest challenge tho. Guardian druid, holy pally, demonology warlock, frost mage, fire mage, bm hunter, ww monk and arms warrior. Guardian, demon and frost were really tough!
I just came back to the game to do mage tower on each class.. this is an extremely detailed guide refreshing what I did in legion, the great recommendation section was phenomenal well done
I really wanted to tryhard this without getting gear and doing an effort, but after 100 pulls and impossible odds I gave up on that strat. Found this video that showed me that zerging him was possible as well as what targets to hit and the timings. Hit the AH, got the mythic Iskar trinket, equipped my old Legion leggos and 25 pulls later he died. Figured I'd give you some credit, it is due. ;) Best guide I've found, no question.
I'm a bit more curious of Empowered Chrysalis appearing over Convoke, suggesting the Soulbinds are cementing themselves in the talent tree alongside the Covenants. Also getting previously PVP only talents in PVE will help the transition off of legendries. Double talents do make them more enticing, but flourish will most likely still be "mandatory" - so I'm really curious on the freedom of points and how light you can go in the early tree. If I'm forced into spending two points on Ysera's Gift that just miiiiight feelsbadman.
I don't think there's going to be that much change in builds, but I do think this is going to be a superior leveling experience. It'll just feel better to level imo. Really eager to see the other trees!
You will want to stay at level 50 or 51, both are very close you drop some speed value, but your gems go from half to full value. Either way it's better in that range, it has been much more difficult for me to acquire that amount of speed at max level. Hope this helps!
@@AngelIsTakn Don't forget if you're going to make another, make sure it's Zandalari if you're horde for the additional 5% movement speed <3 best of luck out there!
