Would it be possible to see an after photo with the rod attached? What is the purpose/difference between using the acrylic shield and carbon fiber tube?
Hey, i have the adventure x2. I don't understand why the inflation bag has to be connected to the 2-way valve. In my opinion it is a flaw. Does mrs offer an adapter to connect the bag to the non-return valve?
Hey. i dont know if you have gotten an answer from this or not. but for my packraft (kipara) i have the inflation bag wich i can unscrew an adapter on my bag to get to the 2way valve. and then add the adapter after. for the oneway. Inflating the packraft from only6 the oneway is waaaaay harder to do. it takes alot of effort to fill through the oneway valve. so i always fill up with 2 wa. close the 2way and take one more bag with the one way. and the use the mouthto fill the rest. What i would reccomend anyway is that you buy the pump. Flextail max pro 2 i think is the one i have. and i only use this to fill up anyway
@@NorwegianHammocker Many thanks for Your detailed answer. That helps a lot! In general I am happy with the bag. It takes just four minutes to fully inflate. Since i am very space limited on my boat i hesitate to buy an additional pump. I am gonna buy the adapter and will see which valve (or in combination) works best for me.
@@udothiel8009 No problem hope it helps. in regards to the pump. you should look it up. its very tiny and weight is 160 grams. it fits in your pocket. and can inflate the packraft 6-8 times before it needs charging again. i always bring my bag as a reserve in case the pump is not working. but to this day i never had to use it (i have used it because i wanted to)
As a longtime user and fan of MRS packrafts, I am still very on the fence on this adjustable footrest. I have used it regulary since last summer and the adjustability function is great, especially if you have e.g. different sized guests using it. On the other side, as you can see at 0:50 you will have the wrapped buckle directly underneath your soles, due to its design. No problem, if you wear shoes or sandals with hard outsoles. BUT, if you prefer neoprene water shoes in some situations (quicker in-and-out, or if you combine leisurely packrafting with swimming) you will definitely feel the buckle underneath your soles, and at least for me it feels quite irritating. Bottom line, a well designed unmatched product, but not for softer flexible soles.
Thank you for your support and love for MRS❤. The information you provided is very useful. We will consider these issues in future designs and look forward to producing a more perfect and user-friendly adjustable footrest. Thanks again.
Well done and very beautiful! All those details, the cut, especially the drone shots, the way the Packrafter moved and paddled with effortless and elegant simplicity, you must have put a lot work into this project.
