We are not here to make law enforcement or the public look bad. We do not take sides. Our goal is to bring awareness to the conduct of both sides and how it influences the direction of interactions between the public and law enforcement through the use of video footage obtained via public records requests. Where possible it is our intent to provide that footage unedited and in it's entirety to allow the viewer to draw their own conclusions. Unfortunately that will not always be possible due to some footage being heavily redacted and rendered nearly useless by the agencies providing it. When that happens we may upload shortened clips as well as the full length footage as provided to us in a separate upload.
Know of an incident in the Lima/Allen county area or Northwest Ohio region that may be of interest to the public? Email us a tip. Please include details such as date/time, agency involved, names of subjects, etc. to make it possible for us to request the dash/body cam files.
This was an intense and well-coordinated pursuit! Kudos to the Ohio State Patrol for their professionalism and dedication in handling such high-pressure situations. The way they strategically cornered the Land Rover was impressive and a testament to their training and teamwork.
He lost them at the 17:00 mark. By not taking the berm he couldn't see the Rover take that exit. After he says "get over" you have a semi and the SUV blocking the visual on that exit, which is the one the perp took. Down the road the Rover took a train track at too high speed and rolled, crashed, and caught on fire. A driver and passenger were rescued and taken to the hospital. A third suspect was seen fleeing the vehicle with a large suitcase and was not caught.
The problem I see is tge self absorbed people driving in the path of tge trooper are nit paying attention to their surroundings and are so self absorbed in tge music and having these sound tight cars they cant see or hear tge troopers coming and are oblivious to their surroundings. They should review the tape and get the plate numbers and issue citations to those who blocked the trooper
IM THINKING YOU ALMOST NEED YOUR HEADLIGHTS TO BE THE POLICE COLORS...NOT TO BLIND PEOPLE BUT TO LET THEM KNOW YOU ARE BEHIND THEM COMING UP TO MOVE!!!!!!
THIS ONE IS INTENSE TO WATCH I LOVE IT. THAT COP DOES NOT GIVE UP. RIDES HIS ASS ALL THE WAY!!!!! MAN IT TAKES PEOPLE FOREVER TO GET OVER. COME ONE PEOPLE YOU GOTTA START MOVING OVER FASTER THAN THAT!!!
Intense chase yes, more importantly shows evidence against the unsupervised human. These croutons like their little trick, but it doesn't always help them.
I'm a retired owner of a trucking company. I feel 1, truckers that cruise in the left lane should automatically receive a ticket. And 2, people that don't pull right for emergency vehicles should receive a ticket in the mail. I've seen this so much it's insane.
People are so stupid. They should go back through all these videos and take these peoples license away for 90 days. It’s amazing how oblivious people are to their surroundings. And how the right lane fails to slow down to let people over who are in the left lane trying to move.
I would have backed the police car up. Broke the drivers window. Pulled him out period enough games. The driver turned off his headlights he knew he was evading trying to run.
They should be charged for attempted murder for driving like that! As a former firefighter I've seen this failure to yield hundreds of times! Then you get the really dumb ones that just hit there brakes!
There is no context why was the person pulled over? If it would have been for a simple ticket then it proves Ohioans are dumb-ass or at least that one was
Way too many people were in harm’s way ? Overpursuit is very questionable and obviously dangerous. How many police cars were involved? Their needs to be a better way, perhaps a rear facing camera to get a pic of the offender before he drives off, off course the police need to get beside or in front of the vehicle. Then you have all the clueless who can easily create a fatality or injury.
