Great to see two of the best fighters ever made together. Such is progress, the Spitfire could easily exceed 400 mph, the Typhoon is faster straight up.
I used to live in St Annes and often went down to the waterfront at Lytham and saw the Tornado flying there in 1981 and 1982. I loved to watch as they flew out along the estuary and turned with different angles of sweep, they also used the Lightning as a chase plane for high speed flights out over the Irish sea.
@@spoon5255 I worked at Coningsby (airfield) and never got to see the two aircraft together. Wrong place at the wrong time. Good one! Got the propblair too.
