For clarity and better soundstage its the sony. They did better for mids and highs. IMO better for dialogues and overall movie experience. But if you want thumping bass for edm, trap, hiphop music, i would go for jbl. Mids and highs here are not that pronounced compared to sony. Different speakers, different taste. It all boils down to what you really want. For me i would go personally to hear both in-store firsthand and not just listening to the online video. Because maybe sound output here are different depending on what you are listening with (mobile phone, earphones, headphones, soundbar). For me, im a bass head so i would go for jbl here even if i have to sacrifice a little bit of clarity, that bass is everything for me 😂😂😂
Philips is excellent, it has a surprising cost-benefit and quality, JBL is wonderful but unfortunately it is very expensive. The video shows Philips with only 40W, when connected to the power, it has a total of 80W, it is excellent for ambient, it is even thunderous and loud!!! I have one and I can guarantee that it is a great speaker, compared to these other brands like: Amvox, Mondial and Pulse. These brands that I mentioned have a distorted sound and no power at all.
