The Irish Film and Television Academy (IFTA) is an all-Ireland organisation whose mission is to encourage excellence in Irish Film and Television by providing a platform for inspiration, creative development and collaboration across the entire industry. The aim of the IFTA Academy is the stimulation of original and creative production work, and the encouragement of excellence through recognition, education and leadership in film and television.
I’ve watched both seasons (obviously) and Sam keeley was a very good indeed, as you watched him you really thought that was the unpredictable loose cannon who still needed a bit of love,, absolutely excellent performance.
, he’s portraying that gobby, dangerous loose cannon, if you look at it like that (an over exaggerated plonker) then you see that there are people like that , respect
He definitely looks and sounds more relaxed in taken this award than any of the other ones he got for this film, maybe it was because he was on his own truf, good on yah cillen your a good one 🎉
It was really special to see Lily Gladstone (although the man who introduced her didn't need to call her an expert on leading men - she is talented enough in her own right) in Ireland to present the award to Cillian Murphy. I think of the story when in 1847 the Choctaw people sent $170 to help during the potato famine. This is a special connection between Indigenous Nation of North America and Ireland.
That standing ovation for Lily ❤ and that being who presented the award to Cillian was perfect 💕a very deserved clean sweep and what a way to end it at the IFTAs!
