I loved powerful performance of Maurizio Pollini. I also listened to Liszt's Transcendental Etude X played by Pollini in a concert hall. Your music is always a part of my heart! Rest in peace in heaven !
Holy shit, right? When he launched into it at that tempo, in that echo-y acoustic, I thought there is no way those ornaments are gonna work, but . . . OMG . . . not only did he get them all in, they were clear and articulated, even in the acoustic! - but mindblowingly they had shape and movement and poise . . . I have chills.
The tempo played for the third section is crazy. I think Judicael is the fastest I've heard someone play this piece. Phenomenonal technique, that section is insanely difficult to play.
There’s zero musical nuance hear ,,,,, it’s hard to believe how such an experienced musician can be so dismissive of phrasing , dynamics and contrasts ,,,,,, sorry people, this is unmusical….. I don’t find another way to put it ,,,, and it’s not even for sake of technical display since he’s hitting so many wrong notes ,,,,, the only explanation I can find is : maybe he didn’t want to be there ….
Antimusical. Todo igual. Ni un solo matiz... Me es indiferente cualquier cuestión pretenciosamente "intelectual". La música a Metrónomo No es música. Espantoso. Criminal.
There are many metronome apps for Iphone, I don't even know what the hell you're playing. Go buy Shin Ichi Fukuda's CD and listen to how he plays. You play like a piece of shit, and at first you pretend to be ridiculous like a fool
