@@petergriffin19745 yea!! I saw the announcement at 1 am on the 8th when it got leaked by someone. Allen furry looks like it will be good. I’m literally waiting to get onto Yukon in the line rn xD
I don’t know what you are trying to say but you if it is that incredible coaster or whatever tf it’s called is better then these rides, you are very very wrong.
I’m going here on Aug 20th, but I feel like nothing will ever beat Six Flags New England, bc that’s where I’m from & grew up going to. Plus it has wayyy more (& better) rides than Darien lake does😭 Still gonna make the best of it and have fun tho! I’m mainly going for the Avril concert, anyways😊
I remember riding an identical version of the 1st coaster called flashback when I was 9 or 10. The shoulder harness didn't click down as tight, or it let up one, I can't remember but I remember being small I felt like I was slipping out after the cobra roll into the loop. I remember thinking, I hope I stay in on the way back. I had to hold on to stay in. I didn't ride it again until I was 14. Never that same seat though.
I went to Darien lake literally yesterday and made the mistake of going on the superman as my 2nd ride, I was scared to ride the other coasters so I didn't have as much fun as I probably Could've later on
You should go on The Viper. It's not as intense as Ride of Steel. I went on it the 1st time as a kid in the 80s when I was 10. It's my favorite coaster at the park. For an old Arrow coaster, it's very smooth. Some people complain about head banging, but I think it depends on how tall you are and what row you're in. Make sure the over the shoulder restraint is close to your chest when they lock them. It will pop up a bit, but you shouldn't move around as much. The front and back are the most intense. You may want to try sitting towards the middle of the train on your first go to see how it goes. Most of the teens & 20 year olds like the back because you get a lot of air time on the first big drop, but you can slam back down from what I've heard. The front has its own intensity.
Have not been there since 97-98. Doesn't look like much has changed. The only new coaster was the Tantrum and motocoaster. Was a good little park that seemed like it was staying with the times in the 90's, but looks like it is stuck in time now.
I went here for my first time 1 or 2 weeks ago and I loved it, the first ride I went on was the ride if steel, BAD DECISION, anyways, one con is that all of the workers at like food stands are really moody and rude, but I get it, they have to stand there all day when it's hot, but still, if you hate your job then don't work there. Other then that it is an amazing park and I highly recommend going if you haven't already!!!
