Paalakar are basically theater troupe who are on the road, primarily in Rural BD, where they perform musical folktales and religious mythologies. Women were not allowed to enter this genre because theater, music, and dance were disliked, but that has changed over the decades. Males would, therefore, play both genders. This was a dying art, but thanks to contemporary artist like Pritom Hassan, audiences are going back to their roots. Good job reviewing this track. Keep it up.

😂 for people saying it's a copy, maybe the coke studio might have copied something , but the song has been sung in our households and weddings for generations. And Sindh and rajasthan have a very common culture. Maybe rajasthan(or Gujarat )is the only state in India, which has special holidays for Sindhi festivals like Chetti Chand, Teja Dashmi etc. Don't forget that both cultures come from the same land.
