For sure!! All of the basic loewe bags go for really great prices on the second hand market! It’s one of the nice things about Loewe - it’s not anywhere insane like Chanel or Hermes since it’s not quite that heritage status
That triple shirt is so dumb and good-- I feel like Fashion Brand Company is on this same wavelength, but on a much less expensive scale (the three-toddler trench coat is one of my favorite things Penelope Gazin has ever made). I've never been that attracted to Loewe, though I really like when they take their base designs and do something offbeat with them. The laser-cut Flamenco is a good example of that. The normal Puzzle kind of bores me (I'm sorry!!!) but I reeeeally like all three of the Matsumoto collabs. That version of the Puzzle really excites me, like that's how it always should have been? Is that okay, can I say that?
Tbh I think the normal puzzle is great! In the same way that the heritage brands have very popular bags, but I think we’re alike in that we love the unconventional so I 100% get where you’re coming from. I feel like the Matsumoto version is almost like the missing link from some other bag to the puzzle if that makes sense? lmao like it’s kind of like seeing an evolution happen? omg i sound crazy

I think everyone needs at least one crazy statement bag and it doesn’t even need to be this crazy expensive! Tbh I’m thinking the only bag styles I need are statement bags for unique additions to my looks, cus I have the staples down. hahahah as soon as I saw that LV, I could only think about the peak era of Hilton/Lohan. I was immediately dropped back in senior year, feeling too-low-rise jeans and the horrible terry cloth of Juicy (which I never owned, but I have some kind of sense memory attached to it). -- btw, I also share the Asian grandma memory of those carts (they still use them in my neighborhood) and I laughed bc I could 100% see the Extremely Extra Ahjummahs using this at Hmart or whatever and no one would even bat an eye, I bet.

I have a bag like the Hermes leather handbag 1, but it has a wooden handle and a shearling body. It really is a HANDbag. Try as I might, I cannot fit my wrist through it. Lol. And just a week later somebody has snatched up that second bag, so you've got some Ballers on your channel.

I have a baggu grocery bag that I keep in my purse, but otherwise have missed the hype on this brand (likely I'm a bit older than their target demo). I love the horse-shaped bags and I really like the hardware. But their regular silhouettes in those prints............ idk, it's not for me. It sort of has a Lululemon-pushed-through-an-AI-generator feel and I'm not feeling it. I do like absurdism, but it's so close to normie that I'm not quite getting there. Horse bag can stay, though.

That Marine Serre bag is giving me Dark Moon Circus vibes and I like that! This is the bag Chibi Moon would choose when she steals Usagi's credit card and goes on a Dark Lady shopping spree (sorry, that's a deep cut). The Balenciaga Busy Bag just shows me that Anya Hindmarch was a bit ahead of the curve on this. She had a tote a few years ago that had a ton of pockets on the front with sassy little Hindmarchian labels on them. It looked much more conservative than the Balenciaga, though, and I've found that it hasn't aged that well for me (plus the strap is really dumb and I keep forgetting to sell it). I love the Vaso bag!! How stupid! I cannot imagine the occasion to wear this, but I want to go there and have ~$700 to pitch into the sun for this one-time carry.

I just got an Innerraum bag and I LOVE it. Hardware is rubber, metal snd these ratcheting adjustible straps. A lot of focus on rubber, nylon and industrial hardware. Lean masculine have a Y2K futuristic vibe overall

I normally dislike plastic bags but I was and am still so surprised at how well this bag is lasting!! And i mean it when i say i am not gentle with this bag, i mean it!! It’s perfect for someone like me who has to lug around a heavy computer and doesn’t super care to be gentle with it hahaha
I think i got lucky tbh. but i will say any bag this old the quilting will be deflated so don’t let that stop you if you’re truly in the market for one
