Hey Darrell, happy Labor Day! Good to see you out flying. I was out flying Long Island last week on some good weather days. Your air strip and plane are looking good. I gotta fly up to NY62 before winter!
@@brettmarquez562 not at all. 45 plus FWF and avionics. About 80 all in nowadays. About 20 less than a Just or KitFox but wayyyy less build time. A Rans S20 was my second choice.
This is our Ride! OMG thank you so much for capturing this! There were quite a few of us that saw your plane but we had no idea who it was. Thank you for sharing this!
Funny story Darrell. My son was at Sylvan Beach with his family and sent me a picture of my granddaughter. I texted back for him to look for a lime green Bushcat as I know you fly over the beach often. As if on cue, I kid you not, you flew up and down the beach about 2 minutes later! Always cool to spot a Bushcat in the air. He sent me a few photos of you flying over.
Great video, I just didn't go, I was surprise at seeing how many went, but a friend of mine who also rides a Spyder, and a retired State Trooper, we just didn't want to get soaked. We did this ride years ago and got soaked!
Yes Darrell, I’ve been avoiding the mid afternoon flying….getting a lot of thermals over the Pine Barrens here on Long Island. The white puffy clouds always add some interesting flying. Stay safe
This aircraft was designed for a much lighter 1-cyl engine. The heavier 2-cyl engine moves the CG too far forward and makes it difficult to pull the nose up. This unbalance seriously reduces the performance and controllability of this fine aircraft. But nobody cares so.. keep busting your planes !
Have a good Memorial Day Darrell. We have the Blue Angels down here for a few days on Long Island doing a great air show at Jones Beach. I was up the other day and stayed far away from the TFR. Didn’t want to become target practice!🤣🤣
So happy to see your regular videos again, Darrell! Gotta tell ya I was pretty excited when you posted the video in February thinking you started early. That was a good flight, but there last few you’ve had were enjoyable. Thanks for sharing with us!
