But what are the premiums on bars like these? I'd prefer 10 pieces of 1oz though, nice looking bullion rounds of various kinds. Philharmonics, britannica, eagles, maples, krugerrands, etc... Bars are boring.
@@jonnyincognito899 Nah, disparity of premiums between buying and selling are way bigger on bars than on rounds or coins. While rounds and coins typically have a higher premium on them when you buy them, you often get most of the premiums paid back. Bullion dealers sell bars close to spot price, but buy them back way below spot. Another benefit of coins/rounds are that you can sell them at coin shops too, but they're typically reluctant to take bars over 1oz. Those larger bars don't fit in with their own product ranges, so they have to dump those larger bars at the wholesaler. Not all gold is created equally...
