This is SO critical. I slammed a BRAND NEW Eflite P47 into an embankment because my elevator was just slightly off center. Just enough that I could not get the lift necessary for take off, and I ran out of runway. And I’m literally only talking about a few millimeters. Center of gravity, same thing. If you aren’t achieving the CG called for in the manual, Add weight until you are. Trust me, your plane will fly SO much better. As a beginner, I assumed if I was using the called for battery, in the right spot, I’d hit the CG called for. I was wrong. Tire balance weights work great! They already come with one side stickered and are generally one ounce weights. Amazon sells a pack of like 20 for a few bucks.
when i did the flap setup thing, the switch toggled the flaps, but instead of both of them going in one direction they go in opposite directions, and this wouldn’t work because the flaps, if toggled like this, would just cause the plane to barrel roll instead of slowing down.
Hi Robert can you tell me is it possible to use the safe on a dx6i transmitter or do you need a transmitter with forward programming. Many thanks Darren
Thank you for your video. I wouldn't be seeking information like this if, I wasn't so stupid. I think it's okay to be "humble", "obviously" and can appreciate your attempt to help others, so thank you! Personally, I hope these folks are compensating you for putting a patch on their inability to provide proper customer service. Don
I am a total noob and you video saved me a lot of frustration. I got a turbo timber evolution and the landing flaps didn't work with the DXS. Your tip on updating the firmware saved me a lot of time. But they were reversed from the flight sim model. Finally got it squared away and first crash is tomorrow. Thank You!
If I'm seeing this correctly You just got full control of a Turbo Timber Evolution on a Spektrum DXs..?? I've been searching for 2 days to see if this was possible. You were the first to show it is. The few who have tried this ended up with some Crazy BS on the Flaps control! I'm at least willing to Try this now. I've now tried this on the TTE and the Flaps do work but there is No elevator adjustment added and the plane will NOT fly straight and level. The DXs will cause many crashes due to this. Bad Proprietary crap again..
Over the weekend I was trying to help a friend by resetting his receiver. Three or four tries and loading the latest 'basic' software, I still could not get to the 'first time setup' prompt. Gyro settings were all that I saw. I did message Spektrum but have not received an answer on what I might be doing wrong.
I don't know if you are the same. Wonderful guy who did the night vapor video. But once again bro, you are the man. Thank you so much. I'm so more confident getting into this now that you've made it simple. I really appreciate it and i'm sure i'm not alone when I say thank you
