Would love if they come visit in Limpopo again, track would be packed with spectators, but like in video all about sponsers. The Drivers need sponsers, the track needs sponsers.
Love sprincar racing its the best I think they should make some car building and repair videos to draw more attention for potential sponsers to see and be intrigued to this great sport people love that stuff on youtube etc.

Australian Sprintcar Fan here. You know, I love Sprintcar Racing and Speedway in general, no matter where it's happening. But the one thing that I noticed was about Sprintcar Racing in South Africa, is that it mostly takes place on the "Black Top." (Asphalt) Is it the case that most of your tracks are asphalt tracks? I've only seen S.A Sprintcars put a show on at the one Dirt Track. Am I wrong in thinking that? And I was also wondering if you blokes run any Midgets over there or not? They're always a great spectacle, and a fan favourite as well. EDIT : - I've always loved this "Blood in Blood out" channel since I came across it more than a year ago. For any South African Sprintcar Fan who may be interested in the Australian Sprintcar scene, might I suggest the RU-vid channel Sprintcar Hub. We have various amounts of surfaces to choose from in South Africa, Worcester (Dirt), Oudsthoorn (dirt), bredasdorp (lime stone surface), Victory raceway (Dirt), west coast (dirt), Bloemfontein (dirt), Killarney (ashault),the list is long been privileged to be at each one, in total South Africa has about 100 different racetracks for all disciplines but Ashault oval is more thrilling and higher speeds but dirt surely is exciting love both😂the development of the sport is fair but the future is vast and full jewels to uncover once you start you can't stop hey😂😂😂
@erichavenga8495 A limestone Speedway?? Wow! Now that has just got to be unique, hasn't it? Limestone!! Now, I've been to New Zealand and seen Speedway (Sprintcars and Sedans on that occasion) running on a surface of volcanic cinders, and then I'd thought "well you've seen something really unusual there," but limestone really takes the cake, eh??

Hi! Yes alot of the Sprint bodies are from the USA originally and the guys have been running sprints since around the 70s here. Its not a big sport here sponsor and money wise yet but hopefully it grows. There are around maybe 40 active guys in South Africa at the moment. There are some dirt tracks but not proper like in USA and Aus... every couple of years a few USA guys come over and race with us 🙂

The one & only, Knoxville Raceway! I've traveled to several states following Sprint Car racing. I've even been to Australia and New Zealand. Now it looks like I've got a new bucket list destination to go watch the sport I love!
@joshualroose6197 Yes you do!!! We are in South Africa. Mainly in Gauteng/Johannesburg but also some in Cape Town. I think you should come over and also enjoy some wildlife and South African hospitality. Great food and drink! Gosh, Knoxville must be amazing. We have one legendary driver who drove there on his trip to the USA back in the day. His name is Wild Willie Zurich. He loves the dirt. We all keep up with the dirt racing in USA because obviously it's the pinnacke of the sport there 👌👌 Great to watch
When are we going to see the balketoe oval race I was working so i couldn't makkee it this is the only way fo me to see and i definitely dont want to miss sprint cars on dirt
Australian Sprintcar Fan here. I've seen quite a few events from South Africa on this particular channel. But the two thing's that really sadden me time and again, would have to be the lack of Dirt Tracks in South Africa, (or am I being a bit misled, just a little, by this channels content?) And the fantastic lack of any "large fan numbers," or any real fan numbers at all. I'm not singling out the South African Fans at all, because since the end of the World Wide Pandemic, we've been trying to get the "bums back on seats," and the one thing I keep noticing is, you can advertise as much as you like, it doesn't seem to matter at all any more. So what IS the answer to "getting the crowds back up to what had, just a few short years ago?? No idea at all. If I had, then I'd be using it in tandem with a canny promotor already here, in Australia. But if I do "discover the secret formula" so to speak, I'll be sure to tell you ALL the secrets to the World of Sprintcar Racing Promotion, I'll be sure to share the story with ya' . . . When that day finally arrives !!
Was this your first meeting of the season there in South Africa? I thought that you'd start about the same time as us, here in Australia. We start in September. Or first weekend in October for those in the more "Southern Region's!!"
No, this was the first time in 6 months this team was able to race again after a promoter tried to stop them from racing and threatening legal action etc becausebof a club incident apparently. Was a mess. There are also four separate sprint groups because they dont race with each other because the drivers hate each other and lots of politics. Which is awful for an already struggling sport in the country. How do you guysbdonit in Oz? Do all yhe cars run together or different series?
@@bloodinbloodouttv I think that there's just the one organisation, has been since the early 1960s, I think it's still goes by the name of the "Modified Sprintcar Club of Australia", that's the federal body, and each of the six states and the two territories, have the one branch each. None of the State Branches, nor the Federal Body, is behoven to "a single Promotor or Group of promotors, which gives the Sport a real degree of freedom and flexibility, by which I mean that say, for example that the Victorian Branch wanted to book a Sprintcar event for two different tracks, which almost certainly means two different Promotors on the same night, as long as the tracks were a certain distance apart, no problems. It's not like one promoter, or a particular Sprintcar Drivers Club, could veto the appearance of a certain highly popular driver somewhere that he didn't want to race on that particular weekend. Besides, Australia's such a big Country, with a far smaller population than even your own, as well as that, 80-85% of the whole bloody population lives and/works within a 60 mile radius of the East Coast of Australia, so that kind of narrows down your geographical or promotional area quite significantly, and yet there's arguably the best Sprintcar Racing in the Country on the few Western Coast venues, with my pick for "Australia's Best Sprintcar Track", nowadays going to the Perth Motorplex, with a 520 meter long banked, dirt track, I think you're guys might just want to send a team over, or we could even send a team over there to you, eh? Well, whatever happens first, eh? Anyway enough from me, and give my regards to "Wild Willy" please? Australian Sprintcar Fan here. Are all your tracks asphalt? These Beats were born and bread in and for dirt track racing. Which isn't to say "that's the only surface that you can race them on. Far from it!! But whenever I see any Sprintcar Racing from South Africa, it always seems to be on asphalt. Which is a shame in a way, because, and I'm sure wrong here, but when you put these bad boys on the a dirt track, it's just a thing of real beauty, and I'd to think that a whole Country is missing out on, what I truly feel is one of life's greatest pleasures .. And that's watching a Sprintcar in their " natural environment". So, dose South Africa have any dirt tracks at all, and if so are there any that are longer than the "regulation" 1/4 mile? That was the other thing I noticed, all tracks were quarter mile asphalt tracks. Anyway thanks in advance. And say hello to "Wild Willy" for me. Is he still racing? Hi Paul! Thanks for watching. I would have to ask one of the drivers for specifics, but from what I have seen, the guys never have brand new tires but they generally do around 50 laps in a race day and they'll use the same tyres for 2 or 3 meetings or so... (no sponsors etc. so they're pretty much using their grocery money. As far as dirt tracks go there are a couple, not really near the level of US/Oz/NZ tracks so the tar is more popular here. :)

Think my dad took me to my first oval race in Vereeniging in 1991 June three weeks after I was born. Ever since then I was at every racing there and Pretoria. I have thousands of photos of every sprint car I think till 2007. ( I remember spending all my sakgeld each week at oom Oosie vir my V8 wall at home. Oom Wild Willie was always my favorite growing up standing at the fence and each time my oor would Voken brand from getting pulled away from the fence. Then came Syd Goosen for a while and he was my other favorite as well. (Not sure what happens to him). Then there also was my other favorite Quintin Saayman but even tho watching this video I remember all of you growing up and watching you all race! Grow up with the Cockerams “oom Amos en Klein Amos en Sanna. I live across the world now in USA and I still to this day follow any monthly uploads from racing and streams. Great work and keep up the amazing content and keeping Sprintcars alive in RSA.
