I bought my contemporary telecaster in pearl white a few months back. Loved it immediately. The year before, I bought the contemporary stratocaster which has a beautiful round tone, but wanted to get into some warmer tones and have the option to play heavier, distorted tones. Took me half a year to realize that the contemporary telecaster existed but I couldn't find it where I lived and I didn't want to order it online. Back in June, I went to the local guitar shop to look around and was pleasantly shocked to see a contemporary telecaster hanging on the wall. Apparently it had been ordered by a customer of that shop, but he didn't like it so they put it on the rack. His loss. The guitar gods wanted me to have this guitar, so I picked it up immediately. I've always wanted a "metal" guitar, but the stereotypical metal guitars (Explorers, SGs, Flying Vs, etc.) never felt comfortable to play. The con. telecaster fit the bill. And, I won't lie, the con. tele's pearl white body, headstock, and roasted maple neck were just so damn attractive.
gorgeous man! I picked up my magna a few months ago and now that its cooling down im ready to build her out! do you have links to any of this stuff? Mainly the exhaust and carb kit you used, TIA!
I do not because they are all second hand and no longer in production man sorry. You want to look for cobra slash cut pipes. Any carb kit that others are having good luck with should work
ILL MAKE THIS ALL CAPS, ITS IMPORTANT......THE KEY POINT IS "RUBBER BOOT INSTALLED ON THE ENGINE 1ST. THE BOOTS HAVE THAT SLANTED CUT TO GUIDE THE CARBS....IF YOU WILL INTALL THE BOOT TO THE CARB 1ST, YOU MIGHT END UP RUINING THE BOOT.....AND OF COURSE DONT FORGET TO LUBE.
Theres screens inside where the float needle seats, on the inlet fuel side, i had trash build up in myn there. You have to pull the fuel floats out with the needles to see them.
@MannyMarvelous Sad to see you're selling it, your video inspired me to modify mine! So much potential in this bike.. love mine very much! Thanks for all and hope you find another beast soon!
@@MannyMarvelous At least now I won't look like a copy cat of you bike haha! Still looking to get same handle bars as yours but i'm having trouble finding some decent one.
Bro... you gotta tune the bike when you change the exhaust, even slip ons, or you will get throttle lag, lack of power, and a poorly running bike. When you sell the bike dont get another one until youre ready to take care of it. At least you bought something cheap like a Honda. You would never had the problem, not to mention that bike is FUEL INJECTED, not carburated. I woulsnt trust this bike specifically BECAUSE you worked on it.
I think the guy knows if his own bike is carburated or fuel injected. The twins were carburated and believe the 4's were f.i. but I don't care. And your not buying it obviously. It will sell its a Well sought after bike and has its own niche
@MannyMarvelous WTF does a CX500 have to do with anything. That's why RU-vid sucks. I'm sure you know if your bike is carburated or fuel injected. Yet he'll argue and insult you. People love those old Magna twins it will sell quick if it's not gone already
Magna was running since 1994 to 2024, with some drops. 30 years and with some professional service... who knows how long it could go for. Mine is still going strong (like bull!)
Bro i bought my furst hwk on ebay for like $50 it was all leather. The brand new ones online are now cheaper and the leather has a plastic feel to it. Quality went way down.
I just bought one, I think they could be the next BMW model to go up in price. Especially early model e39 540i 6 spds with M62 (not the M62TU in later 540i models).
Just scored this jacket on eBay open box new condition for $35.00 sorry bought the last one at that price in size small I bought from the seller (trade port U.S.A.) no spaces no CAPS when you type in the seller’s name trying to find him he probably has other sizes at reasonable cost
@@aliciagilmore7895 I was asking because the older models from a couple years ago didn't have the hash tag, they were a much better jacket. The quality went down. They even gave me one with zippers on the front of the arms. But you only paid 35 so it's still decent. I paid like 80
Could you put links to everything because i want to do this exact thing to my magna. Ibsaw that ypu used the bracket and the new shock on another video, it didnt make it too low?
Im building a magna and im trying to figure out what bars/risers to get. My goal is to get the highest bars possible that still allow me to use the stock length cables. Any suggestions?
Great job and so needed video! Bought my yellow Magna new in 1996. The Honda dealer charged me $500.00 two years ago and I know it's gone up if I do it again. I will do it myself next time. Thank you Manny
You put the float bowls on backwards. The float drain needles are supposed to be on the outside so you can get to them when the carburetors are on the bike!
