Hi Margaret, the SuperShape Contouring Chart can be downloaded here: medifab.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Spex-SuperShape-Back-Support-Contouring-Positioning-Chart.pdf 🙂
This video is made unwatchable by the background music. If this was a lecture in front of a group of students, would the lecturer put on loud background music at the same time? I doubt it. It's a pity because I am really keen to study this subject.
What type of foam layers do these backrests have? What type of foam is the pressure reducing front layer? And the high resilient rear layer? What material is the contouring cube system made from? Hiw much immersion and envelopment do these backrests provide?
Hello, the front layer of our Spex Classic Back Support is made from a soft pressure-relieving viscoelastic polyurethane foam. The front layer of our SuperShape Back Support is made from an extra-soft memory viscoelastic polyurethane foam. Both back supports have a firm high-resilient polyurethane foam rear layer. The contouring cube system is made from the same firm high-resilient polyurethane foam, with the option of using a closed-cell EVA foam cube for extra support. Both of these back supports are designed to be adjusted to match the shape of the trunk using our unique contouring cube system. This also allows the immersion and envelopment properties to be changed depending on how you configure your back support. The Spex Classic Back Support is 2.75" thick without any contouring, while the SuperShape Back Support is 4" thick without any contouring. Once adjusted it will likely be thicker in some sections and thinner in others.
