I recently read on the CTS website that this is not compatible with early mk8 gen3 engines which could be your issue with this. Mine arrived today will be putting on on my 24 gti soon hopefully no issues you had
My 2023 Mk8 Gti has a EA888 Gen 4 engine. The part I received did not get machined on that area. Its pretty obvious they missed it. Hopefully they corrected the issue and yours will fit as it should.
Mine inserted without modification. I did use the factory O ring, which was in good condition, so it doesn't seem to matter. Maybe there is a technique to use the slightly oversized O ring. I think putting it in a freezer for a few hours might shink it for during installation, but I didn't care to try that. Either way it helps to lubricate the ring before installing it. I had model CTS-HW-0513 for a 2022 GTI Autobahn.
To reset the SOS error, is it enough to just delete the error code from the application or do I need to do something extra? I would be very happy if you could help me.
Just press and cancel the SOS button a few times. Turn off engine, wait a minute, and turn ignition on. Error should go away without doing anything else.
Bro i love it and looks so dope i got a gti clubsport and i really wanna put the carbon engine cover and apr intake just like you but is there any difference in fuel economy from the apr intake or power or anything
I do not see a difference in fuel economy. Power seems the same, only difference is that it sounds amazing now. It's like having a blow off valve without installing one.
Can you try olso EN 680 with your topdon., and when your car driving a couple days. I have olso mk8 but when i am charging with noco only charging the bms battery cant charge more then 80% can you check this please
Thanks for the video sir, I have the same issue on wednesday went I get cts inlet I spend 1 hour trying different ways to fit the part today I send a email to cts because of the fitment on the inlet and I found your channel searching if someone else have the same issue with the cts inlet.
They ask me for the original inlet part number, I send them the information. In the maintime I just done the installation and work perfect, I did the same as your video and change the o-ring fit perfect. I keep you posted at soon they contact me again. I send your link video to cts turbo and told them that I have the same issue that you. 😂
Kuya, will this work for a 2022 MK8 GTI SE as well? Nervous because it’s on sale and I don’t wanna have to grind anything if I don’t have to. What you think?
It should work for both 2022 and 2023. Hopefully they have corrected the issue. If not, try a different company. No one from CTS has reach out to me letting me know the issue has been corrected or if it was just a one off I received. Good luck!
I’ve heard so many horror stories about wheel spacers that I’m reluctant to install them on my car. I like the OEM wheel setup but it needs a little bit of offset. The look that you just got with those spacers is exactly the look I want on my car.

Get some jack stands my dude! Thinking about Girodisc on my Mk8 but the lifetime warranty on 034 rotors from FCP has me leaning that way. I’m waiting to see how much heat I put into the stock rotors with iSweep 3500 pads first though.
I thought of that to. They are the same size caliper. You would have to drill 2 holes to fit the plate and also grind off some of the caliper face so the plate sits flat. I am afraid the logo plate will be crooked if I do it. Also very hard to find the name plate by itself. Its been discontinued every website I looked at.
Does the 40th Anniversary come standard with power folding mirrors or did you coded that using the OBDeleven? Btw, nice ride! I’m currently in the market for a GTI. I decided to go with the 6MT because of the 380 package. I think VW knocked it out of the park with that package.

@@ozziettv7852 2023 40th Anniversary model. It is like the S, but this limited edition has Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) like the Autobahn trim. I got this trim because it has DCC and no sunroof.
