Firstly, my online blog, featuring EVERYTHING railway related that I do is www.sambrandist.blogspot.com
The channel is used to showcase short clips from my steam railway hobby but also as an archive for our former 00 gauge garden railway, known to those who remember it as Sutherland Steam Railway.
We hope you enjoy the channel. Please subscribe if you wish
I always like the early morning shots especially that when putting the mug full of tea in front of the camera For me I have cup of English breakfast tea of mine

Glad to see some footage of this online. Was sitting on platform 1 watching it go by but I was only seven so never knew a way of recording it. Great to finally find a good shot of it.
Some one said would it pull somebody on a skate board no that's not what it was designed for a markie or dr mercer engine are powerfull enough to pull a person
Nice one mate especially seeing Bahamas on the mainline for the first time since 1994 I’ve captured it at earlswood station during the engines first mainline test run
Hi, the current round type mamod tablets are pretty much useless compared to the old square type which produced much more heat, secondly I didn't notice any steam oil being applied to the cylinder mating flange. Both of these could contribute to poor engine performance.
loved your video , I make scale models of live steam industrial plants but I liked your traction engine so much I have subscribed to your channel and I might just get one to deliver coal to my plants
Hi there. I use a mixture of coal with the miniature engines. I don't find the small Welsh beans that come now very good unless you've got a good draft on the fire. I use a mixture of steam coal with a little house coal mixed in. I tend to break it down from bigger lumps
