First of all it's great that you're back. I like the location on this first one. It's close to the riverwalk and other fun stuff if you want to be in town.

As a local, I'm laughing at your description of Verdi, you have no clue what you're talking about! Garson trail doesn't exit. Garson is a paved service road. Maybe you meant Tahoe Pyramid Trail ? You left out all the good spots... that's cool tho, as you said "there's too many people" . Stay in Reno, dorks.

Welcome back!! Lived in Carson City from 1986-2019. Moved to Vancouver, Washington to be near my son again, but our intentions are to move back, this time to Reno, in a few years. Miss it!!
I visited tahoe this year, we currently live in texas but this wether is INSANE! How doyle california i found homes for under 200k? Anything like that closer to reno? My husband works at tesla here but will hopefully be transfing..are there other warehouses if things went south?
Definitely a tougher price point, but I would recommend looking in Fernley and possibly Cold Springs. May be pushing the $300k price point, but your dollar goes further out there.
Commuting to Reno during the Winter isn't really ever an issue. There may be a couple storms a year that would delay the commute, but nothing like Tahoe snow.
So would Spanish Springs be a community of the city of Sparks or it own town ship ? And why are the school ratings so low is it the teachers or budgets? Thanks.
Can you use a wood burning fireplace and have a outdoor fire pit? And how about shooting trap, skeet, sporting clays etc. What about smoging your cars?
You can use a wood burning fireplace and have an outdoor fire pit. The wood burning fireplace would have to have meet certain criteria. Smog is required annually and shooting clay pigeons is also an option. Carson City has a great course that I highly recommend. Spanish Springs also has an amazing shooting facility, whether you're shooting pistols or long rifles.
