There was an esh tech for the fight. I had hoped the boss would slip on my tears and die but he just added them to his water puddles 😢 I need a new tech😊
Well done, doesn't seem that bad as long as the steel was running. Love the use of the foreshadowing arrow to point out when we should pay attention to it. I also didn't know you could mitigate that knockback, that may come in handy in the future.
Thank you hehe. You know how that midnight latte hits. 🙃 And yup I’m so going to add more stuff like arrows in the future. Yeah the kb mit will be pretty clutch on your drk run. On warrior I tanked the boss in the same spot and I just sidestepped the puddles and canceled the kb or dashed back in mid kb. Tanks and Some melee seem to have amazing uptime for him. I so wish 1 of blm’s spells drained hp because that was rough
Hehe nuuuu ok maybe a lil showing off. I was always curious if I could just save the 2nd reso pom. But also I knew I wouldn’t do much exploring and on the next few sets so my chances of finding 2 replacement resos would be low. And I wanted one fore 140 and hopefully find 3/3 for the 190s. But mostly I wanted to see sage do the fight with 1 reso because I have issues
Nice job. Good to see that Assize can wipe out the adds easily. I'll be honest, in the floor of garms, I kept waiting for you to just pull one and bring it to the corner instead of waiting, though waiting was probably the better call to make sure we could safely dodge attacks.
I regret not opening with assize and playing it a lil too safe with the heals since she was 1 gcd from dying before absorbing that last succubus. The chimeras I wished would dragons voice first did rams instead and vice versa like ughhhh😢
completed this boss yesterday, but always trying to see how others approach things differently. I had NO idea you could rage the add, that's insane! Good run, hope you got to 200!
Thank you :) Yeah this run was when I was pretty inexperienced with the 141 set and 150 boss, so I got to 150 low on time. I kept triggering luring traps on 147-149 and had to use to many poms so I wouldn't die. I saw a tip once about using a rage on a add to help save a huge chunk of time. I did eventually clear 200 but not on this run. I think on this run I died on 176 or 178 because of aggro and panicking. I hope your palace climbs have been going well. Which job are you using??
Nice clear. I usually go Ifrit > Garuda > Titan for the opening. It’s a little less potency in your searing light burst window but makes up for it in giving you movement for the last part of Dividing Wings so you don’t have to stop casting to move.
Thank you :) Yeah, I need more experience on that fight on smn I had recently swapped to smn for a few tries and tried to Ifrit when I was certain nothing was happening but sometimes muscle memory would get me and I'd be stuck with ifrit during movment The run before that I had used ifrit 2nd but I forgot on that run. 🤐I also had 2 slow cast interupts that hurt my soul and I'll hopefully improve. I also made an Energy Drain reminder on that floating hotbar after seeing this vid because a few times in the fight I had missed that it was off cool down for so long.
Woohoo! Congrats on the clear! That second Harrowing Hell always seems so scary when you get there cause the lb is gone for sure and you never know if you really have enough mitigation for it.
I had a lot of fun in this fight overall. 2 days of lots and lots of deaths and yeets hehe. I wanna try tanking it for the sole reason of flying gracefully through the sky 😝 Thank you for all the tips and tricks. I'm gonna keep joining prog pfs for it until I super learn it and then its off to p11s!
Love it, I could tell near the end when you clearly just wanted to get that one last hit in, and then she hit your shield a few times to heal up. Great fight.
i noticed from watching this that as long as you're on the edge of a safe spot. you really could blindly run left or right during the flame/cone animation and end up in the next safe spot for for the 2nd set of aoes.
thank you 😉 I totally forgot to use the str pom at 80% instead of 100% UGHHH. so ofc i was too panicked after the death to notice str pom wore off mid enrage. I think I've gotten better at the aoe KareStrat though.😊
Thank you! Our duo run was the only reason I beat this fight. It let me get used to the mechanics while you saved me with vercures hehe. I swear I took my eyes off the timer at 11 mins and thought I got to the boss with 9mins but I ended up taking a "look for chest" detour and had mimic aggro that took longer than i had hoped. I saw the timer when I loaded in and freaked out and just went for it. slopppppy
Wow! You are so on top of that! Love watching you in action! heh heh, Now i need to "binge watch" all your other videos boss, you "Epic one!" I liked, subscribed and hit that bell too! Hugs!
Thank you! We had a lot of fun clearing it. Thank you for the sub Salem cat 😃I hope to upload some more footage from the 6.25 stuff. I'm super looking forward to the Criterion content.
I admit when I first saw the fight I was like there's no way I'm going to be able to even tell what the first mechanic is, let alone dodge it. I've tried this on smn a few times and literally blind 50% of the fight. I do wanna try healing this though!!
Thank you!! I burned so many items on all mimics, lurings and roaming aggro >< i honestly wanted to cry on 167. After the timer got to 7 mins left i knew i only had 1 chance since even if I died/raised there would be not enough time left since i was out of lust/rage >< was shaking afterwards and wanted to leave the chat in the vid ❤ Because everyone has been so supportive.
