Why the NR & NF guage goes RED CROSS after turn on the main & aux batt? Does it normal and safe before starting the engine?

The system needs some time to boot and communicate with all the on board computers that control the various NR modes (for now only PLUS mode is available but in the future NR will have more mode like ECO or similar and will be controlled by the pilot with a button on the collective lever that actually doesn't do nothing)

Thank you for your answer. But I mean that at time 1:10 the NR&NF Guage with BACKUP MODE still showing on both MFD and PFD until time 1:16 when i heard AWG PLUS MODE the NR&NF Guage disappeared replaced with RED CROSS. Is it normal when use only Main &Aux Battery for starting. Or when you starting with external Power the NR&NF guage with PLUS MODE GREEN under it still showing all the time?

That was normal and it is the same even with or without external power. Keep in mind that at the time of filming this video the helicopter was only a pahse 5 now it is a phase 8 and a lot of things inside the software had changed.

@@JacopoTomasoni Thanks for the answer. Because of Our helicopter S/N 69151 which is phase 8 now. When starting with external power the NR&NF Guage with PLUS MODE is still display all the time during starting. How ever when duing starting with only Main & Aux Batt the NR&NF Guage with PLUS mode disappeared replaced with RED CROSS.

@@pae4455 it is normal the A169 is very susceptible to current fluctuations without external power a lot of strange things could happen. But it's a good helicopter in my opinion. Ours is serial 69114

@@mohamedkraria6647 There is no analog backup on the A169 apart from compass and outside ait temp. But at needs Primary Fligh Display copilot can revert on Multi Function Display and the center Multi Function Display could revert to Primary Flight Display and you have a stand-by horizon that could have a battery backup as optional

@@gabrielegurioli ciao si siamo con Air Corporate e siamo intercambiabili ogni tanto raramente capita di fare qualche volo per Rosso. Siamo sempre stati negli stessi hangar a thiene. Prima usavamo anche noi un 109SP

@@berkinan1496 from the synoptic page nothing change during engagement or disengagement of AUTOPILOTS as I told you before. The synoptic page gives indication about the positions of the SCAS during movement for example in flight, flight controls test and autopilot test. On the left side of the synoptic page you can see some information messages regarding AP1 and AP2 PRE-FLIGHT TEST for example yellow message 1AP PF-TEST NOT EXECUTED. In the blue square instead you can read the positions of flight controls Cyclic, Pitch, Roll ans Yaw in percentage.

@@JacopoTomasoni thank u. I have new question and topic for you :). 1) Is your helicopter has Search and Rescue modes? (MOT, WTR) 2) How many radar altimeters are there in the helicopter? 3) If two, do you have radar altimeter selection capability for autopilot command?

@berkinan1496 our helicopter is configured as VIP so no sar features enabled despite the presence of the relative buttons on the autopilot control panel. If you press one of the not installed function a cas message appears FUNCTION UNAVAILABLE. We have 2 radar altimeter but you cannot select wich one to use you test both in case of a failure of one you have redundancy with the second one but they both work together by default.

Sir could you record a video on synoptic page? On ground - IDLE or FLIGHT it doesnt matter. Case1: Autopilot Disengage Engage AP1 and AP2 Disengage AP1 and AP2 by using quick disengage button. Case2: Autopilot Disengage Engage AP1 and AP2 Disengage AP1 and AP2 by using AFCS Control Panel. I would like to observe electrohydraulic actuator feedback behavior.

I've done the video only with the command from the cyclic due to time sorry will try the other method if I can but nothing will change apart that no arm message will appear and of course the cas messages will be different for autopilot 1 and 2

Dipende molto, da aeroporto a aeroporto i costi del carburante variano. Negli aeroporti commerciali si trovano buone offerte di jet a1 che partono anche da poco meno di un euro al litro per arrivare fin quasi a toccare i 3 euro litro negli aeroporti minori. Un pieno sono circa 1130 litri. Il segreto, quando possibile, è trovare e organizzare delle fuel release vantaggiose per il proprietario dell'elicottero

Yes the autopilot warn you and limit the PI at 96% with a PWR LIMIT message so in case of an engine failure you still inside the maximum 10 seconds transient torque of 192%

Hi sir. Excellent video. Thank you for sharing. I have couple of questions about AW169 or 189 (if available)? Q1: Could you share detailed video about the Autopilot Test? Q2: When the engage the Autopilot, SCAS LVDT bug indicator is moving little bit in AFCS Actuators Synoptic page? Can you see any offset in SCAS(linear actuator) LVDT bug indicator?

Hi berkinan, thanks for the questions I will try to reply to you as soon as possible with a video of the autopilot test. I can in the meantime say that the autopilot test has changed a little bit from earlier phase to the actual helicopter phase 8. Now the autopilot test is faster and the synoptic page has changed a little bit too. You can see in the synoptic page the scas indicator moving.

@@JacopoTomasoni I can't see clearly the synoptic page in this video for after the pf-test completed. Can you record the video by holding the camera closer to the synoptic page? Also, it will be great to watch the Phase 8 autopilot test. I'm looking forward. Thank you sir. I wonder following 2 points: (please record sir) 1. New autopilot test sequences (phase 8) (LVDT motion and test sequence) - I can see clearly from synoptic page. 2. When the pf-test is completed successfully, AP1 and AP2 will be engaged. When the AP1 and AP2 are engaged, are the LVDT positions exactly aligned with the centerline of FWD MRA AP1(2) section?

The cockpit is not isolated well but I can assure that the cabin is at another level. Passengers can in fact talk normally without headphones or hearing protection. For the vibration keep in mind this is a VIP model with an advance AVCS that reduce the natural vibration of the helicopter a lot
