Hey, we’re Dom & Jesso! After 3 YEARS of living the VAN LIFE in Australia, (completing a whole lap of the country) we have decided to do it ALL OVER AGAIN and upgraded to a 2016 Ford Transit High Roof LWB 🚐

We’re currently self-converting our new Van into our dream home on wheels to continue travelling Australia full time!

Follow along as we document our van build journey and travels around Australia!

Good progress. Nice to see pop rivets instead of aluminium welding. A bit easier. Make sure you treat that rust at 09:21!

Do the screws through the subfloor framing into the van protrude outside? I've read a load of guides and a lot say to avoid drilling / screwing through because it exposes the metal to rust. Good catch on the foil tape, you sealing it all off but then screwed the subfloor wood down into it anyway, breaking the barrier?
