Good video and good product! I added these to a 2024 R1S and panel 3 had no ribs. (Panel 1 does not have a second rib.) If you’re adding to a R1S you’ll have to dry fit panel 3 and mark the location of the ends of the bracket. Alternatively, use can use panel 2 to locate the drill locations on panel 3. Also, pay attention to which end of the panel they are measuring from. Measure twice, cut once!
Got mine today and installed it. It was ‘almost’ as easy as the video. The clip on the frame gave me a little trouble but overall very happy with the product. Sounds great.
@@notsecure @AI-Driven-Entrepreneur Thanks for the question. We have not noticed any change in range or efficiency. The Rivian community has been adding running boards for a couple of years and have the same results, not real change compared to not adding the running boards.
Thank you for the feedback. If we made them using regular carbon steel they would be less expensive, but they also wouldn't last the same way that these will being stainless steel. These will last as long as your Cybertruck does basically worry free.
Video instructions worked well, much easier for me to follow than the printed instructions, thanks! For anyone watching deciding if this is a good buy, go for it! The bracket and pre-wiring was very well made and convenient. Sure, you could DIY a little cheaper but it would take longer and require a lot of tinkering and fitting; totally worth the small premium. The sound of the horn is much deeper than comes across in this video and the other reviews I’ve seen online. I like it. It’s like a deep train/truck horn.
Hey, I gotta say this was one of the most simple and well edited/produced install vids I've seen.✅ It's a great companion to the included paper instructions. Sidenote- the paper instructions are helpful, but the pictures/figures are a bit on the darker side.❕ I've had this truck apart a number of times, so I didn't rely on installation instructions other than to make sure I didn't miss anything. I saw the link to this video on the instructions, decided to check it out, and was thoroughly impressed by your effort. Well done. The kit you put together is refreshingly robust and well designed.🦾 Now I sound like a choo-choo. Maybe I'll install a pull-chain actuator above the driver's seat, just like a big rig. I know the kids will love it, 😅
