These men set a bar and nobody I mean nobody has met it since! The excuse is music has changed. I guess. Tell yourself whatever you need to so that you can feel good. The reality is these artists don’t possess the vocal skill anymore because it’s not required.
I must have misremembered because I thought this was more like 96 than 93, probably because of the style of R&B. The radio version sounds like it could have come out around the same time as Mark Morrison’s Return of the Mac. The early 90s were a transitional time and a lot of stuff sounded almost 80s.
I think the 90's decade had the best songs ever created and/or produced in terms of R&B/Soul/Dance/Pop/Contemporary music genres. I maybe wrong but that's just my perspective on music songs from various decades. The 80's decade was also good but I think the 90's took it to next level. Groups (Bands) such as 112, Allure, Blackstreet, 3T, Silk, SWV, Total, Soul for Real, Jodeci, Jade, Boyz II Men, Nsync, Mint Condition, Immature (now ImX), Next, Backstreet Boys, Mokenstef, Dru Hill, H-Town, etc. Then you also have single artist (singers) such as Mark Morrison, Ginuwine, Jon B., Joe, Case, Mary J. Blige, R. Kelly, Aaliyah, Maxwell, Monifah, etc. If you do agree, then it is all good. Peace and Enjoy...
The performance was excellent! But ain’t nobody talking about how the drummer went OFF during the break😅 dude let loose lol as a drummer/musician he did what needed to be done and stayed on time.
Body juicers. Just pour up a glass of black girl magic wine, put this CD on, lay back, keep quiet, the ride on auto pilot. Says this 63 year old cougar.
