Hey can you put this in your next video please I will be gone away what question what happened to the 455 because no longer operating in I'm wonder what happened to it people feel good content😊😊😊
I don’t know what has happened to TFL and their advertisements , it has become less creative over the years and less informative, especially on the buses! Hope they can improve this.
Thank you so much for this video. It’s detailed and straight to the point. I have previously travelled from Gatwick to London Bridge and vice versa but will be travelling myself for the first time and I’m very anxious. Will save this video for when I’m travelling.
LOL - how did you find the Skåne dialect in Malmö as I lived in Finland and learnt Finnish but picked up a little Swedish there. The Skåne dialect / accent without the prosody of Modern Standard Swedish was definitely easier to understand than than folks from Stockholm. Have you been to the original IKEA where it all started? Stockholm is interesting with lot of the museums and the Vasamuseum - where the ship that sank in 1628 in Stockholm harbour on its maiden voyage. It is 90% intact and is a fascinating museum. What else did you do in Copenhagen? I have to carry a map around as the Danish pronunciation of street names etc. bears little connection to the spelling. (this was pre smartphone LOL)
My little knowledge of Swedish didn't have any chance of understanding anything spoken! I find it much easier to read haha! Copenhagen was lovely, honestly! Had to do the regular touristy stuff, and most importantly, made an essential trip to the Carlsberg brewery!
@@SomeoneExplores I find the written forms of the Scandinavian languages much easier to understand than their various spoken forms. At the Carlsberg Brewery did they should The Carlsberg Honorary Residence where Niels Bohr (one of the most important scientists of the 20th century lived) noted for the fact that there is a tap of Carlsberg beer in the house?
Broooooo lol. I do love CPH central station and have ridden the oersundståg loads over to malmö for work. it's pretty expensive for a single journey but lots of people who work across the border have their work pay for a monthly pass so they don't have to pay for the journey. Also it's technically illegal for sweden to do these checks at the border. Also they really target POC for checking passports, I'm white and have never been asked. Also CPH is known as a stoner city, they have a bit area where you can buy weed and swedes are really prudish with drugs so they want to make sure no drugs come in from Denmark. Little do they know I have weed on me from CPH every time I travel lol
I had heard a lot of folk would do Malmö to Copenhagen for work as the $$ was better! Makes sense, cause wow Denmark was expensive! I guess you're referring to Christiania! They've actually closed down Pusher Street a couple of months ago, and from what I saw, they seem to have relaxed the whole secretive feel to the place (cameras are allowed now!)
@@SomeoneExplores yeah I have pals who live in Malmö but work in Copenhagen for that very reason. But they are usually swedes who do that. And ya I heard pusher street got shut down after the community got fed up of the violence. It’s all good stoners still know where to go
I was there a week ago and the new swing bridge is still a 'work in progress' with no public sccess although I did fly my drone along the river to get some nice shots of the bridge. As one of your other viewers commented, you should do a video on the govan stones and the old graveyard where I found a team of people busy uncovering some of the buried stones in one corner of the graveyard. A look around inside Govan Old Parish church is highly recommended. It's just awesome.
Great seeing you in my hood, Lewisham I used to catch this bus often to get to Stratford when I couldn't be bothered with the DLR! Why did you have to film this the following week, I missed the reason!
By the way, I can confirm that West Coast Motors HQ did see my video when it came out and amazingly gifted me a couple of Glasgow day tickets! Thank you very much, West Coast Motors! 😍
Difficult to imagine a more pointless comparison. Abbey Wood to Paddington without the Elizabeth Line would be the train you boarded at Abbey Wood, to Cannon Street then change onto Circle line (via Victoria). That would be a realistic comparison to show the time advantage of the Elizabeth Line.
Cool video, its fairly clear that the Lizzie has been a massive success, I hope we don't have to wait to long for CrossRail 2 to be started. It's not just speed, its the added capacity.
The tram by default, regardless of the stop button will usually stop at every stop. However the advantage of it is that delayed trams have the option to skip stops if there is no one in the platform and no one wanting to get off. Also fun fact: Nottingham was rated the least car dependent city in the UK!
Hey, this video is gold! Thank you very much! I have to go from Valencia to Paris in a few weeks and I'm doing a lot of research between Flixbus and BlablacarBus. I have a tight budget, but more than that, it is because the days I will travel I will be working (remotely) so I need a place where I can safely use my computer, and also save me a day in a hotel. I have seen that there are some blablacars without a bathroom.... Have you heard someone talking on the phone during the trip? It's allowed? I may need about 20 minutes to get into work meetings.
Nice!. Just being picky... at 16:29 is Tottenham Court Road not Tottenham Hale AND you could have saved ages by the OSI at Lancaster Gate for Paddington, shorter walk than you'd think.
To quote Sir Alex Younger (newly retired Head of MI6 who was actually the longest serving Head of MI6)- France has eclipsed us and Brexit has marginalised us!!!
Just stumbled on this, good video. Ive done this trip in a seat. I was headed for ft. Bill, thry made us get off at like 4am in Edinburgh for about 30 mins. Zero sleep, but the on biard coffee was good. A tip for you realtimetrains will give you all platforms way before anything else, and youll never have to play the Euston board game again!
