Masai will stick to his plan of drafting very athletic players who can, run, pass and are interchangeable. After moving off OG and Pascal this season, I see the Raps most pressing need at the wings. Do you think any teams in the lottery will move down? I don’t see the Spurs keeping both their top 10 picks in this draft.
Ill take him in 1st round if kel el ware ain't available at 19th pick but kel el ware is available at 19th ill take him in 2nd, I want both guys, but this would solve are center problem.
Lol never. Just look at the history of masai on draft night.. has never historically been active on draft night or prior and this includes his history with denver nuggets..July 1 we see moves draft night unlikely
First outing was bad but does it really matter. Jays need a guy who can go 3 innings every 4-5 days when the games are out of hand. Id say make Manoah do it though.
He should be taking pointers from Justin Turner. How JT stays off pitches until the absolute last millisecond and explodes with launch quickness might be one of the best in the league, right up there with Luis Arraez
Masai i found the ultimate 2024 free agents 3 point shninpers off the bench #1 6 foot 9 Jalen Smith 42.5% 3pt 5 million #2 6 foot 9 Obi Toppin 40.3% 3pt 5 million #3 6 foot 7 Sam Hauser 42% 3pt 1.9 million #4 24 Yo Isaiah Joe 41% 3pt 1.9 million
Parsons shouldn't have even been on the opening day roster. I remember when they signed him a year ago, after decent seasons in the KBO for 2021 and 2022, and he seemed like a spare AAA pitcher to take the Casey Lawrence role. I guess he filled his role and bought Espino some time in AAA to get ready to step up. It's likely no other MLB team will claim Parsons off of waivers, and he will be stashed in Buffalo as a spare again.
You know, I really think k it’s the Jays doing him a favour. The Jays have good options already for that spot, some they traded for, and really, Votto admits that. He says he’d be happy to play at any level to work back. He’s completely aware of the scenario here. And maybe another team will spot him and throw him on the big league roster. He just needed the stage and the visibility. He’ll be ok in the end. I’m just not sure it’ll be with the Jays or if could be soon if it was. But I love the story and the player, and also wish it were true somehow.
