I'm looking for videos not from the vendor and you have best! Thank you for answering all my questions! I would like to see you lift the truck. I'm looking for a simple jack that will work on nearly any auto, and this seems to fit!
“It’s a V10 that’s not just some fake sticker” proceeds to have hybrid slapped on the rear and SRT on the hood 😂 tell me you’re insecure without telling me.
Can you share the model number or link to that model? (You said you you shared the model number but I think it got cut out of the first few seconds; the video begins with “…here” so I think it truncated the very beginning.
I just saw your previous video showing how these tension springs work, and now I’m even more pleased to see you add the installation video. My handyman is going to be very busy. 😊. Keep the videos coming, these are really useful ideas. Thanks again.
You’ve got some great ideas for upgrades. I’ve been trying to find the perfect solution to this problem. No more having to try to manually hold those doors open while trying to get access to my supplies. Thanks again!
You didn’t even show how you replaced it. I’m at a Four Wheel camper dealer and they’re having a hard time getting the dead bolt out of the door, just the bolt that slides? Don’t see the point of this video?
@@paul_s872 tons of dead bolt replacement videos out there to watch. i didnt think i needed to do a step by step. the point was to call attention to the faulty deadbolts.
@toddstringer9009 the air filter is located right on the throttle body. its that rectangular box you see right on top of the intake manifold. The blue silicone tubing connects right to it
Awesome video, I also have a Gortech jack, amazing product, that blue insert(padding) is actually for the 2 piece crank handle and ratchet bar there are slots on the one end to slide them in and hold them in place and stop any rattling. Great video, kind regards.
Thanks for the heads up...I remembered hearing about this, but you confirmed it! Most say it's even hard to get Makita impact X bits out of it...Not sure what they were thinking here.
Whatever side of the car faces the sun is usually which side has the issue Of leaking. The heat dries out the adhesive. The black automotive RTV silicone will never dry out. And it will be a permanent fix .
Did this work for you? I’m having this issue with my f30 passenger side front, already had the sunroof drains cleared.. problem continued so today I went to a local shop had them remove door panel and there was like a small opening down on the vapor barrier and it was wet, used the same vapor barrier just took the whole thing off and re applied it hopefully this solves the problem
Funny you should ask. The kit was called soft ride suspension and they are not any stiffer than stock. Not sure if the offer that option any more this was a very long time ago.
Thanks, been banging my head against the wall for months with water leaking into my f30 wagon that I daily drive. This is the last of 3 places water was coming into the interior. Bad sunroof seal, plugged drains, now this. No disrespect to enthusiasts, but after water leaks, EGR cooler failure (diesel), plastic engine coolant fittings failing, transfer case flex joints, WTF folks. All these are known to BMW and would be cheap if addressed before failure, but cause major problems when unaddressed. I’m lucky enough to be able to address this stuff on my own, but how do folks justify keeping up with these cars if they’re paying a dealer? Rant over, and thanks again. Popped my door cards loose and can see the loose barriers, fixing later today with the hope to drive a car that doesn’t smell like a wet dog soon.
Thats bad ass, I almost sold my 99 1500 4x4 5.2, couldn't do it, it's my first truck and have had it for 22 yrs. Now I'm fixing her up. Especially with the price of trucks now days.
We use iron x at our shop, night and day difference, if it was that bad, id go ahead and do a light clay bar as well, you dont have to go to aggressive, just enough to smooth out the paint. Nice 2nd Gen btw, I probably need to iron x my 2nd gen, but its not as nice as yours haha
@@thrillhunter9897do all 4 doors clip easy from bottom like in video?i have window sealant too put down from what i heard the passenger door is more harder to get off, is itmore easy to un clip from bottom put a wood and put silicon??
@@Mircea1997 Much easier to just Un clip from the bottom . or You have to remove the entire door panel. All doors are the same. They are easy to pop at the bottom.
@@thrillhunter9897 what if you have a problem with door and you have to take off the vapor barier? buy new one? or just clean it?? i want to put window sealant ..
@@Mircea1997 If the vapor barrier is badly torn, you're going to have to either tape it with duct tape or by a new one, but definitely clean it if it's dirty or it won't stick.
