Hello! My name is Beatriz, I wanted to create this channel in order to share what I like to do the most: journaling. I hope you can find company and comfort in these videos, and share your experiences within our little community.
I'm glad there's a lot more conversations in the journaling community about this. I personally feel like we can get swept away with all of these journaling systems available in the market- to the extent that we overwhelm ourselves and loose interest in journaling for a moment. These past few months, I have been trying to be mindful, intentional, and practical with creating a journaling system that works for me. Your words; "you don't work for your notebook; your notebooks and your system need to work for you," definitely resonated with me. I've meditated on some of these questions months ago and I'm glad to know myself and my journaling purpose enough to not be easily influence with making impulsive purchases on new notebook systems (especially since we are entering the season of new releases for the upcoming year). Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on the topic! And thank you for sharing a way to redefine what it is we want to get out of journaling as a hobby and experience! I was going through exactly this, I didn't felt at home in any of my notebooks/systems, and while I was crafting these questions for myself I thought it would be useful to others struggling too! Thanks for the video! It really helped me. This year i've been trying different journals and it always feels like such a waste when I don't use them anymore. The questions helped me figure out what worked and what didn't.

That's a really good exercise to find out our own way of doing things. I guess people sometimes just copy other ones and do what's on the hype, so this questionnaire would be fundamental to find your own voice and style. I'm gonna do it myself here because I think it's a very helpful way to journal for personal reasons. Thank you for your content!
I am glad you found it helpful! I guess we are all just trying to figure out what works best for us, and sometimes, we see others with a different approach, which can lead to trying out new systems. But not always are they actually aligned with what we need. I am definitely guilty of this, this is why making this video and sharing it was so important for me 🤍
