Instead of regurgitating Suri company talking points, talk about how well it actually cleans teeth and how it feels using it. Q: Is this toothbrush any good? A: It's recyclable. Q: But is this toothbrush any good? A: It has plant-based heads. Q: Is this toothbrush any good? A: It has low CO2 emissions. Q: But is this toothbrush any good?!?!
My concern is how they hold up six months in. I did recently buy the 8' pan and glass lid to give it a try. I love the design. I've never had much success keeping pan bottoms clean. One thing I made sure to do was to clean my glass cook top very well.
Was the test performed only powering the critical loads? One day of usage was 12.3 KWH. An average home uses around 30 KWH or more a day. What happens on a cloudy day or week?
This is all nonsense. The fact that any "non-stick" surface degrades over any number of uses means only one thing - you are eating that material. Cast iron leaches iron which can be an issue for some. Quality stainless steel has none of those problems. The egg-test that everybody uses is just marketing. Eggs won't stick to any smooth, hot, oiled/greased surface. Stainless steel wins every single time.
Maybe I'm just a lucky guy to live over 60 years and using Telfon coated similar cookwares in my whole life. First, I can't understand why the governments in the whole world do not ban all the usage of floro-chemicals over tens of years in case those chemicals are simply as "TOXIC" as you all descript? Can you provide historical data in the past tens years how the number of cancer patients are increasing and directly related to your studies? Empty talks are not convincing... Thanks!
So glad I stumbled upon this. Having friends and family members who have been touched by cancer and then other family and friends who are now trying to be more conscientious when it comes to eating healthier and choosing the right cookware & bakeware is so important. It’s sad that someone in the industry created something that exposes us to toxic chemicals. We must know and understand what we are exposing ourselves to. Thank you for the great information.
Sadly just learned my Enphase PV system is not compatible with the PW3, so I will be going with two PW2s now and see if I need to add more in the future. The PW3 doesn't play nice with Enphase micro-inverters, at least the unit they are selling today. But the PW2s are cheaper and still pack a punch. We OVERSIZED our PV system (by 25% the max my utility would allow) to accommodate future ESS.
Does this device need to always be plugged in while you are using it? Can you use it briefly outside to check and compare outdoor air quality with the indoor air quality? For example, where I live there are no nearby outdoor monitoring stations so it would be very helpful to be able to briefly check the local outdoor air quality too. Thank you!
Cast iron is said to be best but that's for a pan. How about bakeware like cookie sheets, bakeware etc. I'm also surprised Le Creuset non stick is a problem. What I took away from this is that Caraway is the best option though it may need to be replaced every few years. Thoughts?
Being able to recharge battery during the day and staying off grid for long periods works well in summer, much more limited during winter or overcast months
12:12 PFFFFFFFFFF my ass, how specifically are they "off setting all the C02" thats just some BS thy tell you to make you feel better................................ Also Awesome video
I love this Suri toothbrush but you can not remove debris between teeth no matter how powerful the motor is. People do not get it, toothbrushes alone WILL NOT REMOVE FOOD BETWEEN TEETH and but if bacteria accumulate between teeth you are in trouble. What you need is an interdental brush like the gap picker.
You have a way too big solar and battery system for your usage. You only dropped the charge level by 15% overnight, you really don't need 2 Powerwalls.
Could you share your thoughts on portable thermal label printers. My 4th grade child wanted one and I am confused as company is mentioning anything about this on the products. Thanks
You have 8 reading and the screen is only for 2. The wifi only works around the device. It doesn't work like othwrs while you are in town or other country. If its not plug in you can not see on your phone . The batteries compartment is so bad design.
Are you sure you don’t have the air things view as opposed to the view plus? From what I’m reading, the view plus has wifi so you can view it when not at home.
This tax credit was written by the current administration, which can't close the border, or speak in complete sentences. Do we really think they have the ability to write a law that's simple to understand, or helpful for anything other than them using credit as campaigning point.
Thank you. It would have been helpful to know the square footage of your house relative to the adequacy of coverage by the 17 KW. Powerwall Plus. For those of us with little knowledge of solar cells, it would have been helpful to know how many solar panels you needed and cost of entire project, if known. Other than that, thank you for the comprehensive coverage of a complicated project.
This was a great review with a great focus on sustainability. You did a great job explaining everything in a calm, rational way. You carefully considered all the phases of the tooth brush's life, production, shipping, use, and end of life. I am so glad I found this channel.
Thank you for sharing this! Has there been any issues with the brush staying clean and if there were to be buildup where the toothbrush head connects to the body would it be easy to clean? I've had an oral b toothbrush for a couple years and there's permanent mold that I can't get off which is why I'm looking for a new one. My husband has had an oral b brush for several years and hasn't had that issue though which is interesting
