Is this Steve? I'm in the Adventures Continue Facebook group too! That replica of Clark's office is beautiful. It would be a surreal experience to walk in there!
I lived in Hanford ca from 2006 to 2007 childhood memories 😭💖 I remember going to elementary school here and we lived in such a nice house I still visit from time to time and will be moving back
Ahh a place were most never leave and they all talk about it, glad i grew up there but happy i left most people talk about leaving only to end up being stuck forever, doing the same thing into their 30s and 40s sad but true...
I grew up in Riverdale, from 77 to 89, so the Hanford of that era holds a lot of fond memories for me. Hanford was where our doctors and bigger shopping trips were. And there was a period of a few years in the early 80s where my mom, brother and I would go to Hanford every Thursday after school for mom's weekly allergy shot at Dr Zehring's office on 7th, which was at the office building right next to the tracks, which you passed and showed in your video. I always looked forward to Thursdays. We always got burritos from the deli at Food King or burgers from the Hanford House on the backside of Food King. I still have my mom's old Food King card from 1977. I moved away from the area for 13 years but returned in 2002 and now live in good ol' safe and sound Hanford. My wife grew up here, my son was born here and will graduate from West in 2027. One recommendation... maybe add some nostalgic-type music to this video. That would probably stir up some rich emotions. Thanks for posting this relic.
I worked at Van Andel's Menswear, right there on 7th Street. When I got off, I'd shoot down Reddington until I entered into the residential neighborhood where I lived. I recently took my brother (who was visiting from Washington) back to our old house. It was strange to see other people living there now.
I worked at Food King from 1974 thru 1977. Good times!!!! Whenever I'm back in Hanford and see the stupid Walgreens where Food King was, my heart aches. Great video!!
You captured my dad doing a u turn at the 2:35-2:40 mark. I wish u woulda recorded more when or if you even pulled up beside him. Me and my 3 brothers could have been in that car. I was 2 at the time.
Sadly, no. This was found on a tape I'd made on the night before my high school graduation. We just happened to decide to go around that night with the camera. I'm glad I did though. I had no idea how the world would change.
