Small mouth bass all day long on this creek my son just pulled a 3lb this afternoon in Crystal clear water with a nightcrawler. Late summer bass are here and are just amazing fighters
There are some good RU-vid videos on how to use external power sources to help eliminate the go-pro overheating issue. By the way, your description also calls the new NIKKO Leach a Green Voltage Hellgramite. It would be cool if you also included the type of reel your using along with your rod. The rod looks awesome, even though we didn't get to see how it works under the pressure and weight of a 2 pound plus fish. Nice job though. Do you know you repeated some of your opening footage at the end? (starting at 6:30) Blessings!
@@HowardWard-u3l Why do you say that? Granted, I fish mostly for wild carp, but I’ve caught plenty of pay lake carp on them too. I have luck at paylake tournaments too. What would you do differently if you don’t mind me asking? I’m always open to suggestions.
@@paulwhitman9414 I use a “pay lake” style rig most of the time, but I will use a method feeder too. The link below describe show to rig the pay lake setup. americancarpsociety.com/traditional-american-styles
@@everymanangling So I’ve jumped on the tiger nut train lately. I run spicy Sriracha tiger nuts, with added Sriracha to the pack bait. I also run banana tiger nuts. Oats and rice crispies with jello, cream corn and sweet corn. I also homemade syrups, black cherry, fruit punch, strawberry .

@@dougroberts3643 Right? Also, I don’t understand why it was so difficult to pull out without pliers. They look smooth, but I wonder if there are microscopic barbs.
@@shadmattingly2509 Welcome and thanks for watching! I’m currently running a giveaway, be sure to enter if you would like to win some of the baits I use.
Great video man!! What app do you use for your thumbnails? I just recorded a bass fishing video for my channel and it’s cool to see how other people are doing!! I love watching your videos, keep up the good work! 🎣🤝🎣
Thanks for watching! I’ll subscribe to your channel. I create my thumbnails and edit my videos on Canva Pro. I think it costs around $10 per month and the features are more than enough for the types of videos I make. Tight lines!
@@zilsysdo they really make you pay a fine just for hooking it unintentionally? That sounds absolutely ridiculous; where I live we have some diabolical and braindead laws, but even species that are offlimits will not cause a fine so long as all other laws are respected and the fish is released immediately
@ethandixon6580 some areas will fine you. But the main reason is if you are not permitted to catch one, you do have to release it... which can be dangerous since they can flick the stinger above and below it... you have to take a lot of time to not get stabbed. You can't release it with the hook still in.
@@zilsys my point is that it is ridiculous that you can be fined for it at all assuming he wasn’t intentionally snagging or breaking other laws. For example; in Cali, you currently can fish for Steelhead a certain time of year with some restrictions to the equipment you use. Chinook Salmon is completely off limits as if rn. That being said, there is a decent chance you will accidentally catch a salmon while legally fishing for steelhead and while fishing for the salmon is illegal, you will not be punished as long as you keep it in the water constantly and give it a rapid and safe release. With that being said, it would be incredibly pathetic if bro got fined for accidentally catching a ray so long as he wasn’t breaking local laws with the equipment he is using and he didn’t intentionally snag it. If he was legally fishing for something else and just so happens to accidentally get a ray, the state is out of line and very unreasonable to fine him for the crime of simply hooking one
@ethandixon6580 it's something more like the rays are protected in some areas for research or something. I'm too busy to look right now. Have a good day.
