The water clarity is definitely a big factor. The water in the video is perfect not to clear but not completely mirky. Also look for the deep pools especially when the water is super hot. I’ve always done good with a ned rig. Definitely my go to bait.
This heat is brutal on the GoPros. I had the same issue with freezing up recently. That bass was a tank! The shot of him busting the water was awesome. So many beautiful crappie. Great video, Jonah!
It is, had a few videos that were froze. Yeah he was a stud ain’t nothing like catching one like that on an ultra light! There’s nothing cooler than getting a fish jump on film when I went back and watched it I was stocked! Thanks man!
Yeah Jonah I’m telling you it’s been TO FRIGGIN hot lately it’s been in the 90s for the past 2 weeks here it’s killing me working outside. Great video as always love your videos! That bass was amazing.
@@harleyjackson5513 no problem! Oh yeah I can stand on it without feeling unstable. Definitely always haft to fight waves. The bass boats aren’t bad it’s the wake boat’s that suck.

Just the other day, I was unloading my kayak at the ramp and I had just installed a Bixpy on it. I had not registered it yet so I was trying to stay under the radar so to speak. As soon as I was about to get on the water, Game warden pulled right up to me. He checked my fishing license but did not notice the motor on my kayak. He was only concerned about my license and overlooked the rest. Sure glad it wasn't water patrol.
Yeah you got pretty lucky! Thats the only reason why I won’t put a trolling motor on my yak. I’ve only been stopped 3 times and everyone was pretty cool. The way I see it is if you respect them they respect you.
@@jthoutdoors106 Absolutely, I very much appreciate what they do. Anytime they have checked my license they were always very nice about it. By the way my kayak is now registered. I was doing a trial run that day.

Recommendation. Take your breath, sink to the bottom and just chill for as long as you can. They will come to you. Grunt a few times here and there and they will inspect you.
