Tony and Rich's case: Orange oil on that sticky living room floor. Leave it set 20 min. Scrape off. Oven cleaner on the grill, cover with seran wrap, leave overnight or as long as possible. Wipes right off. ✨️😅 love that she was given instruction. Hopefully she gets psychological help as well. Great job!
Maybe she needs to change the amount of responsibility outside her home. Or get some help like a maid service? Maybe someone at church would help ( volunteers)?? Or get a professional organizer to teach her/them how to manage their house? I don’t think she is lazy, just overwhelmed. 😢 This is called depression or something.
Philip saying "this should be an easy job"! Like, no, it's not an easy job! his house is full of rodents and rot, and he's actively hindering the cleaners. But I understand that his illness is not his fault, and I also understand that it's probably embarrassment that made him say the job was easy, because he's finding it hard to deal with the amount of effort it's taking the cleaners to help him. I get all that. And I see how nice he is to them in an effort to compensate. It does demonstrate how complex it is and how difficult it must be dealing with all the conflicting feelings the illness brings. There but for the grace of God, etc
Sorry, our Mum has five of us, she worked and also went to school in the evening. We were young and our house was Always tidy and healthy. When we were able to help cleaning (around 10 years of age) we were able to help out. This woman is just lazy, filthy and blames others. We would not step in that house without masks and gloves. This is the most unhealthy and disgusting place one could live in.
Inexcusable I’m a single of two work full time I wake up at 5:30 to leave food ready also find a little time to clean. In the afternoon I take a little bit of time to also pick up. Unbelievable I cannot sleep unless I was the dishes.
Please, please look after, care your lungs from fumes etc in all these cleaning stuff.I had scarring of left lung due to passive smoking, and neighbor's wood fire.
Bleach should not be mixed with other chemicals, the cheap and cheerful method getting lime scale off is ketsup. Its the vinegar in that condiment that does the work. Put on the area inquestion and leave for a day while your doing other stuff , then return later and rinse it down the drain. Speaking of drains, if you have a septic system? Dont put bleach down it as it will ruin the function of the system as it will leave a thousand gallon tank full of solid waste. The enzyme in the tank break up solids in between pump outs. The production of this show needs to place warnings to consumers about the use of the product they suggest youbuse to clean your house. Baking soda as its known in the states can be used with dish soap to better clean that nasty grill then just the soda alone.
To those with low motivation/energy, I'd suggest having as few possessions as possible. The less you have, the less you have to pick up. I can relate. Depression is a beast.
In all reality, it took more than two helpers to clear Susan's hoard. It would have taken a huge team to do that amount of work. This lady Susan has severe issues to cause that kind of hoarding to cope with her life, no question. I hope she is doing better today. My heart goes out to her.
Viewers please understand hoarding is more than likely a mental health issue, not just laziness. Be kind to others before commenting. Mental health disorders can affect anyone at any given time, people don’t choose it.
I have ocd and even though hoarding is a form of ocd, I can’t understand hoarding and I can’t help but feel angry at these people. Their form of ocd triggers my ocd so badly 😩
I'm glad the homeowner is taught how to clean and is expected to help in the actual cleaning. I am always a bit concerned when I see someone come in and clean a home like this while the homeowner is absent because I can't help but wonder how many weeks it will take for her to get it right back in this same condition. MAYBE if she cleans it herself she will be able to maintain it a bit better. I think the BF should wait a while to move in so he can see if this is a one time thing with her or if she actually keeps her house relatively clean.
The cleaning woman need masks , head coverings and disposal outerwear and gloves! For there health. Beautiful hard work by these kind dedicated woman! Prayers for those who suffer from this disorder.
Her house is a reflection of how she feels inside. When you're that "heavy" inside you can't do much & just adjust to the environment. She needs to change her comfortable routine. Very sad.
Someone get a message to that first lady that she should 100% start a youtube channel reading childrens stories , she has a great spoken voice , and it would bring her much hppiness to read to all the children who listen - the show and account owner here should pass this message on , get her setup with a laptop and a youtube channel . Think howmuch that would change her life and fix her hoarding
