there is a huge misconception, time moves faster closer u r to a blackhole, it just do, like VHS tape, fasting forward the tape moves "Fast" images move fast, while outside of blackhole affect we don't notice, near it, feels time moves faster, a person inside blackhole could year years while seconds pass us., for him years.
People are depressed alredy coz the lack of goals in life and no hardship. We alredy have low fertilityrate and isolation from others as start to be a reality everywere were people have everything served. What is the goal with this totaly redicilous AI explosion, make a world full of wimps.
No not make, but eliminate There is only one projectable outcome for humanity once we reach a certain level level of AI And quite frankly, it is happening too fast for us to grasp the final outcome
Uh...we didn't have internet back in 80s when I was growing up and we were fine? My parents didn't have it, grandparents didn't have it.....Life was actually better. Who the heck even made this video?
I was around without the internet. I can go back to phones and using catalogs looking for parts, using Checks once again. Going back to physical stores. There would be a whole lot more stores. You can online order over the phone. You can see all your real friends in person and talk to them over the phone. For me, it wouldn’t be a huge deal. Pay bills with checks and using the mail. Not the end of the world. Of course mainstream news can continue to lie and better get away with it since the truth wouldn’t be out in the internet. They would love that.
It would be bad for a time, but we would probably thrive after a while as life got back to what it used to be. I have lived the majority of my life without the internet and everything worked just fine.
Your thumbnail is crazy. The world was JUST FINE before the internet, and it won't end if the net goes away. Believe me. I was one of the first people with a PC BEFORE there was an internet. We will just go back to using our BRAINS and the library (and plain old phones). You're freaking out over nothing.
Hurricane's , the loss of power , internet .....for 2 weeks and longer in N.C. proved to me that people are gonna pull together in bad situations , yeah there are those that won't but most enjoyed the return to human interaction !!!
Was this written by a teenager? The way this video describes life without the internet is (in some ways) ridiculous. We were not a "fragmented, isolated world" back in the 1980's and 1990's. The world would not crumble if social media disappeared over night. The real impact of no internet would be in the realms of finance, healthcare and warfare.
What is so terrible about nit having internet. I say the would was a lot better before it. Letters, yes, actually putting pen to paper was a great way to keep in touch, nit to mention a landlines and long distance calls was another great way.
Millennials and Gen Zero would go crazy. Not being able to be on the phones or tablets all day long. Edit: I would love for it to happen, just to see how the Millennials and Gen Zero would act. Especially Gen Zero being raised on electronics and not by real parents.
That would be great to have no more internet ever again. We would be back in the 70s, 80s & 90s whens times were good. Edit: Sure it maybe a minor inconvenience for the time being. But we would adjust fast, thanks to a lot of Gen X people knowing how life was before internet and social media destroying normal life.
I ACTULLY GREWUP IN A WORLD WITH NO COMPUTERS .................AND YA IT WAS GREAT............................PEOPLS ACTULLY WENT OUT SIDE AND DID THINGS LOL AND READ A BOOK OR TWO TO LEARN ................................AND ACTULLY HAD FRIENDS AND WE DID THINGS YA KNOW KOOL STUFF LIKE FISHING AND HIKEING NATURE .........................I CAN DO WITHOUT WIFI FOREVER LOL ...........SHUT IT DOWN RIGHT NOW ................................
The hurricane's in NC proved that kids knew what to do , they went outside and played and helped people , it was sad to see the return of the "net " a couple weeks later .
It would be very bad as you said, but not necessarily as bad as pictured. Without instant news we would go back to newspapers. Slow news means more contemplation and individual thought rather than group think. We had amazing technology before the internet. As far as trusting what you hear, People would reject anything that was found to be inaccurate just like they used to so integrity would suddenly be the number one feature of any news source. Radio and TV would still be a thing over the air. It depends on what you mean by no internet by the way. GPS does not require the internet. Maps could be bought in stores for or devices. My prediction is that if the internet died people would build it back up again really quickly.
I'm old. I remember when I did not want to buy a network card for my PC. Online services charged by the minute like a long distance phone call. I also did not like the idea of depending on outside services. I preferred to have all my stuff on my own PC at the time. Of course I didn't have much going on and later did. I remember writing a script to dial up, log in, scoop up the headlines or stock quotes and immediately hang up so the call only cost about a dime. Now I'm fully dependent of online services. My fear is that the next war won't be with bombs but with computers. Just bringing our economy to a halt would allow some fully functioning country to just move in and take over by assisting us.
The world did just fine without the internet for centuries. We migh even see a return of normalcy. People would connect in person again. Less brainwashed idiots like Furries, Pronoun freaks, LGBQT weirdos, "woke" morons and less propaganda from politically driven organisations. Life was a ton better before internet became mainstream in my, we use to have social events where everyone hanged out regardless of appearance, now all of that is gone.
