So to put it in simple terms. You have 2x 48v wired together? Just asking as my 48v set up seems to run low very quick and I want to add more batteries. Also what watts solar panels do you use to charge them?
@@sypherxxx7358 yes 4 serised and two paralleled. you can use whatever solar panels you have to charge them, just make sure the voltage and wattage line up with the recommended solar (pv) input on your charge controller!!
This video pretty old, so i would recommend a jbox and splice it with waterproof wire nuts that are filled with dielectric silicone less messy, for new people watching
I barely got by with a Lowe's bag. It'll be a home depot for sure from now on. Would you all stop the Dawn dish soap mythology building. Save some for the dishes. I paid extra from some genuine wire lubricant and it works good enough.
Loved pulling 4or 5 bundles of 9 conductor size 12 through some 4in conduit. Those were the days we were building control circuits in a substation! GoD, i miss that😢😂
Remember to use a lowes bag and not a Democratic bag. It'll cost to much if you do. better replacing the whole wire in that case. and increasing the fuel costs so the taxpayers can pay for it.
Splicing method taught at Trump University for MAGA morons! Do your job just well enough to get the customer's check in your hands and get out the door!
I wouldn't call myself a professional, more of a Master Dr. of professional everything. You clearly have experience at the cheap stores, but I would not recommend the dollar tree. Grease up that elbow and go to Lowes, you can do it! Ps. These videos offend the people living inside a box so please be advised of this. Watch at your own risk, you may learn something and get a headache.
Now his did you get it up there and how did you get it down off of there and what happens if you need to slam on the brakes and simple stuff like that, safety is the number one priority and that just looks absolutely unsafe
Bro, that floor needs to be removed, it has and foan underlayment not allowing it to dry properly. How do you check the moisture under the floor? How do you repair the wholes you just put in that flooring? This type of work is what you get when the insurance company sends you "their people" they come do cheap work get paid and the claim gets closed. And guess what you will have mold growing under your floor.
If you are doing ground mount, is the ground positioned differently? I see you have that ground in the junction box, but where is that going? Do you take the ground to the combiner box? Or is the ground in the array not connected to the Combiner?
