When I first started my RU-vid channel, it was more of a conduit for my family around the world to see my videos. As RU-vid grew, I found myself watching more and more videos for either entertainment, to learn something new, see similar interests, or view what interested others. I also wanted to contribute to this. So I started posting videos that are of my interest, How-Tos, and some of my hobbies in hope that others would also find interesting, amusing, or learn something. Enjoy!
I know, but couldn't. With a car beside me and a tailgater, I might have had less damage, but most definitely have had injuries with more parties involved.
@@totobiuno I currently drive an older Genesis G80. I was hoping to upgrade to a Stinger, but then they discontinued it! I may eventually pick up a used one for a decent price discount in a few years.
Thanks man! Yes, you should get the sub! Since you have the turbo diesel, you might even try the JBL version of the the spare wheel sub as that one is more powerful. I was limited with what I can do with the hybrid as I didn't want draw too much juice away from the electrical system.
Crazy how many railroads and trains once ran through this area and are now gone forever and reclaimed by nature. Granted there’s still a couple active lines but it’s still nowhere near what it used to be, which makes me wish I could’ve been alive when those lines were in use.
That's why I'm scared to my new car. I've had Veloster N and spends thousands on mods only to get hit by another vehicle and total it. Couldn't take anything off because I didn't have time and insurance was in a hurry to take it.
@@totobiuno I feel you. I’ve been following you for awhile. I actually felt pain when I watched this video. I wish the best for you! Hope you find another gem someday! Keep us posted if you do!
@totobiuno word of advice brother, don't buy anymore Kias. They seem enticing with how affordable they are and with their factory warranties. Me and a buddy of mine have worked on Kias/Hyundais (newer ones) and they have to be the worst quality vehicles we have ever experienced working on. Countless stories of people having their Kias stolen, having total engine failure or catching fire from electrical short circuit, ect. NOW, granted, Kia has fixed some of these issues with recalls. I understand this was a complete and total freak accident. I hope everything goes better for you in the future.
Check out my playlist. I have the full video with the items in the description. ru-vid.com/group/PLcisLqbElPIrRiWkMnoLwNo3_2GICkK11&si=IW2aD3dL6ARSgrKY
So far, so good. It's a bit stiffer and less bouncy. I'm riding mostly on asphalt and paved roads. I have taken it on some loose gravel roads - you do lose some traction there, but ok for me. Anything thicker, though, and you're sliding out of control.
Well because the pickup driver came back I will say for 100% that your stinger is fine XD may even get a K5 lol If dude just kept driving you'd have a deductible to pay plus increased rates. You got very, very lucky. Just look on the bright side that the *only* thing you're losing is time.
Yes, because I REALLY wanted to destroy my car like that, so let me just stay put. People like you crack me up. How many times did you rewind, re-watch, pause, and zoom in that part? In a real-world scenario, you only get one time to view.
@@totobiuno its understandable being distracted. i watched it a few times and saw it fall off at the 10 second mark, at your speed you had about 3 seconds to see and avoid before hitting it. sucks.. hope you got his license plate number
@ihyln1 even if I could, it wouldn't have made a difference. Braking would not have softened the blow, and swerving was out of the question with a car and curb on either side. Those scenarios would have made things worse, causing a pile up with vehicles to the side and rear of me. Not to mention injuries. The hitch fell off the white pick-up truck making the U turn. Rolled down. Then, the black pickup truck in front of me ran over it with its tire. By the time I saw it in real time, it looked like the black pickup ran over a small animal. I thought it was roadkill at this point, but at that last second, it was too late.
It's $230 for the pair of resonators plus installation and custom piping at a local shop. Mine came out to be less than $900. Others might be able to do it cheaper.
as a Norfolk southern employee i went up to the abandoned Lehigh walleye in 2002 and some of the signals were light up red still with power still going in after being removed from service in 1978.
as a railroad employee these locomotives are in long term storage not abandoned as for you its a felony charge if you get caught trespassing on nj state property with the possibility of 6 months jail time and up to a 5000 dollar fine.
Given the level of vandalism and the lack of security, these are just waiting for their date with the scrapper. Compare these with the GG1s that had much longer lives and could pull the heaviest trains - freight and passenger almost to the very end of their lives.
Especially since NJ Transit is yelling about money shortages and still paying interest on them. NJ Transit can save themselves some money by running engines like these without the double deckers & definitely getting out of the real estate business (no more transit villages & the like). They need to stick to rails & buses.
They are ALP-44 which had an expected lifetime of 25 years but retired after 22 years of use because they were not powerful enough to haul the new heavier double deck cars. NJ Transit has to satisfy $24.5 million in interest for a federal loan for them so they cannot yet be scrapped.
Come on . For shame to see this 😱 This turns my stomach! That was a young electric I remember them when they arrived to NJT Featured in on a Magazine cover in the 1990's. Why not put them in the museums? Not this hideous graffiti vandalism ! My respect to these electrics i rode on every occasions of New Jersey Transit, My tribute to them & i thank Atlas Model trains for making these in my prized possessions & collections in Ho scale.
